Silver Shield

Born with no support or luxerices to his welfare or any supportive from any financially decent people when needed. Johnathan Newborn has lived through an hellish life of being homeless. John lost his immigrant parents at the age of four because of infective illnesses, only reason his parents and John never got support was because they were different from the society and Paragon City itself. In his youthful age, John was taught by parents to never stop believing in hope, even in hardest times because one day he'll occur when he never knows it. John always remembered that, John was fortunate enough to be supported and help by other hobos like him at the time of his parent's death in front of his eyes helpless.

No other families of his that were financially well and had supportive needs and other such to save his parents and John but refused to for the familial related issues. John was left to fight for his life in the streets to face up against evil deeds and thugs, who happens to be much like John. But always looked the other way to never be as bad as the others. He always has carried hatred towards the government, mainly because they were never there to help the homeless people or John or his parents for that matter. Thus leaving John lonely with no help but never stopped him because of having his optimism and hope always beside him.

While John got money for begging in the streets and cities, he used the money to also help other homeless children believing they didn't deserve any of the pain that he deals with as well. He always did good things no matter what bad things happened to him, always believing no matter where the person comes from, or who they are. He believes they should be treated well and deserves freedom and support. John of course trained in combative ways by other skilled hobos in order to defend himself if he should face a thug that tries to kill him, and keep him well-conditioned despite lacking any supports.

John still kept doing his usual routines, he even decided to search and look for jobs but all rejected him for being homeless and not well-dressed. Leaving him the only salvation to live in the streets, John has always had a passion and admires superheroes for saving lives and helping others being selfless, he would, of course, have few conversations with some to thank them for what they do. John may deal with a painful life for being different but never stopped him for believing the hope that glows above him. John got nothing to lose at this point to the point he became careless for his welfare and life but cares for others, in an odd way but yet selfless.

Then in 2002, the infamous aliens known as the Riktis invaded on Earth and caused a global-wide situation in which alerted the military, governments, superheroes and villains, and many more. Thousands got killed and injured by their invasion. John was in his mid-20s during that time it happened, he was just sitting in the streets before he witnessing a group of Rikitis crowded bunch of innocent lives to kill or do other horrifying things to them. John refused to sit back and let more harms happen to them, not when he's there to stop it, he found a nearby manhole cover and began fighting against the aliens and winning the battle.

After rescuing the civilians and fought other aliens to defend others, the invasion ended and the aliens retreated. John was also among the few who helped cleaning the damages. After the battle and cleaning, a couple of days later after the invasion. John saw the very same people he saved during that day began doing good to others, even the homeless ones. They did this because of his heroism and felt inspired by the hobo's sudden selfless heroic ways. Left John with tears and emotional joy to do good to others. Realizing this is what he should be doing for the most part of his life. It is to be a superhero to inspire others to do good to make the world safer.

He began doing intense training to be physically fit and prepared, he was taught a variety of combats by other skilled fighters he met in the streets or other places in Paragon City itself. John kept his manhole cover as his shield and fought against villainy. Until recent present days, he met other heroes that are part of The Wonders who convinced have him to register with a person named Chloe in order to fully become an established superhero with no illegal ways. He registered but still unsure for the governments and gotten himself a costume and an impervious shield and became the superhero as The Silver Shield.
