Space Pirates

"Space Pirates" is a catch-all term for the vast numbers of loosely-organized crews and individuals operating outside of Corporate law in the Terra Ad Astra universe. The Space Pirates do not show preference or prejudice towards any species in particular, instead valuing strength and earning ability. In Terra Ad Astra, if you are a spaceborn human, or "Terran" as they're called, and you are not performing some menial and compulsory lifelong task for the Corporations, you are either affiliated with the Space Pirates or you're in an unmarked grave on some desolate planet.
