Specs, a stuntman, overhears a ruckus in an executive producer's office. The EP is assaulting the lead actress and Specs intervenes. The actress and Specs are publicly dismissed in the media for "creative differences."

After some time, the EP sends goons after Specs on the Styx Studios lot where they corner him at the prop house. They fire upon him in front of a Fortune Teller Machine. His body knocks back against the machine and his blood dislodges a jammed quarter.

To his surprise, he awoke the next morning alive.

Magically, the Fortune Teller machine has brought Specs back to life. Not only is he resurrected but he has new mystical powers with vengeance coursing through his blood.
