Criminal Activites

- Spectral Raider, among other villains, attempted to ruin the preparations of the Palladium Sentry's second anniversary party, causing destruction and terrorizing civilians. He then proceeded to assault the heroes that thwarted his actions. He was promptly taken into custody.

- During the Halloween season of 2010, Spectral Raider, who's powers were enhanced by the abundance of magic, summoned forth legions of ghostly pirates. Heroes of the city dealt with the invading forces before locating and defeating him in his mausoleum lair beneath Dark Astoria.

Long ago, during the 17th century, pirates ruled the seas. They plundered, stole, and pillaged cities everywhere. Some marveled them. Most feared them. They lived a life of no regrets or regards for others. Assembling crews of like minded individuals, some captains became more a threat than others. One such man was a pirate by the name of Johnathan "Johnny" Jones.

Feared throughout both Europe and the budding United States of America, Johnny Jones amassed a massive crew and an even larger stash of various treasures and weapons in a relatively short time. A ruthless and skilled fighter, Jones himself would often lead assaults and raids on towns and ships. The British Navy found themselves fighting, and losing to, Jones' crew of pirates on many occasions. Johnny Jones could have very easily established himself as the most powerful pirate in history had it not been for the unexpected treachery of his most loyal crew member.

Lead on a goose chase through the catacombs beneath what is now known as Dark Astoria, Jones was stabbed in the back by his first mate and left to rot. Centuries later, due to the Banished Pantheon's mass ritual of Astoria, Jones's final resting place was disturbed and his spirit given life and form. Able to interact with the material plane, Jones vowed to continue where he left off so many years ago. Dubbed by the public as the "Spectral Raider", Johnathan "Johnny" Jones plans on pillaging, razing, and plundering all in his path.

Powers and Weaknesses

The Spectral Raider is able to both interact with the material plane and become incorporeal, making him a tough enemy to actually inflict damage upon. Armed with two rapiers, he is a nimble and agile combatant.

Due to his ghostly nature he is highly susceptible to magics and technology designed to bind spirits. Basic weaponry will have little to no effect on him, however magical and energy based attacks seem to inflict damage.
