History

Life before Incident

Andrew is first son of Christopher and Anna Wronski, both immigrants from Europe. He himself have born in Houston on January 28th year 1981. Back the he was active and cheerful kid. When Andrew became five years old he became severely ill, which led to nasty complications, including asthma. Andrew became far more peaceful and withdrawn kid, mostly beacuse of his allergies and troubles with health, but as soon was discovered, he was a brilliant kid.

At first young Wronski was considered average good kid, but after one of his teachers managed to encourage him to pursue better grades and scientific carrier, he became best of his class. He attended to best schools and in the and he managed to get onto MIT while being 18 years old. Few known what was his true purpose of such devotion back then. It took him only nine years to finish his doctorate in bio-engineering and then he started working on his most magnificent invention.

He had few close friends back then and most of them knew, Andrew hated his weakness, and his primary goal was to find a way to help the people affected by such afflictions. Thanks to his relentless studies he programmed nanites to modify DNA-structure same way the average virus would. He imprinted few basic patters into their database, and made his first mistake. Andrew was so eager to try out his medicine, he decided to skip simulations. He used his invention on himself.

Incident

His invention managed to change him, and overcome any of his weakness. His bones became as hard as reinforced steel, muscles surpassed olympic medallists, and his usually weak immune system gained ability to fight any illness. But all that came with a price. Nanites database contained patterns of many beings, animals and sometime theoretical patters of mythological being. One of them was minotaur. His body took visage of a famous beast, his skull reshaped, and the old Andrew was gone. All that remained was mind of great scientist inside a body of monster. Because of intense amounts of pain many of his neurons died that day, which decreased his abilities as scientist. After waking up and discovering his new appearance, Andrew destroyed most of laboratory, and took recluse within his apartment. Some believed he would never recover from that trauma. But Andrew still had something of good boy wanting to make world a better place inside him.

Incident took place almost half year after the test. In apartment block next to his fire erupted. sadly firemen couldn't make it in time, but Andrew acted. He managed to pull out five people from collapsing building. Thanks to that, he understood how much good he may bring in his new form. back then Steel Hoof emerged.

Life after incident

Andrew at first tried working in his home town, and achieved few lesser successes against cartels and human trade, but because of his increasing popularity, his family got endangered. In order to protect them, he left for Galaxy city. Soon after his arrival Shivans almost utterly destroyed the city, regardless of efforts put into saving it. Steel Hoof was transferred to Paragon City where he achieved quite a few successes, surprisingly specialising in enemies of magical origin. He became member of Midnighters, and thanks to his new allies in club he became lecturer on Paragon City University. His apartment is located in Founder Falls, where he is often saw. He is also member of Vanguard, even if his activity concerning Rikti became rather disappointing. Steel Hoof isn't part of any super group currently, though some say he plans creating one. Currently he is also Leader of group called Children of Asterion, which specialises in minotaur like heroes, providing them eithe help in accepting new look, or necessary courses in order to help them adapting to new environment. Also hero is currently trying to work a bit on the ,,minotaur" image, mostly through series of organised crime fighting actions.

Personal details

Steel Hoof Looks right now like a minotaur, even if he is rather small compared to the most specimens, he is capable of challenging far bigger foes, and overwhelming them. He still has some problems with his new form, mostly with him being unable to find someone with whom he could get closer. Usually peaceful, intelligent, he tends to quote famous authors and enjoys good conversation. Loves scotch, mostly because it one of few drinks he actually feels. He has two younger sisters, but rarely talks about his family.

He usually wears baggy shirts and belt equipped with a variety of gadgets, sometimes in addition to bandage wrapping around his hands he wears two magic chains. If he is saw that way, he is either training or on easy job.

His classic attire consists of lightweight armour and fireproof cape, hat suit has many gadgets implemented into it, including lesser force field generators.

Sometimes he is wearing shirt, or suit. It means he is either working on university or trying to look elegant.
