Biography

Every child dreams of being something special, even more so when they grow up someplace like Paragon surrounded by folks with "special abilities" and unique costumes. K.C. Lewis was no exception to this. As a child she dreamed of being extraordinary, of saving the day, of being respected and admired. Given the circumstances of her life it's not surprising. Orphaned at the age of two, K.C. had been a ward of the state and in the foster care system for as long as she could remember. Escaping the uncertainties of life in fantasy novels and comic books, she often wished her life was more exciting. Sometimes wishes do come true.

A couple of times before she could have sworn she could feel power flowing through her but never had she even grasped how it all worked or that she had the ability to control it or even that it was real. It took another child's life being put into danger to call it forth. A broken dish started the trouble and it ended with a fully grown adult laid out flat on the floor from the power of a tiny girl's fist. She was as shocked as anyone by it all, and then quite miserable as assault charges were filed and she was sent to juvie.

Fortunately for her she was quickly placed into foster care again with a man known as “Relic Demon” as part of a new, experimental program. One designed to help troubled kids as well as those suspected of having possible “powers” of their own. Relic made sure she was kept busy. Between sending her to a new private school, putting her to work in his bike shop and under the tutelage of Sensei Logan; K.C. barely had a free minute. But she never regretted it.
