Origin
In 1939 a young man by the name of Kurt Zemph was pulled from the German Whermacht. He would become The Third Reich's Uber Secret Weapon. Seeing that German technology was at a high point Hermann Goering invested precious funds in a Super Soldier program. This program dubbed “Luft Geist” would ultimately cost Goering the war. A first strike weapon was needed to spearhead the invasion of France. Germany had no such thing as a powered hero. France had debuded their Hero a year before: Code Name: The Flying F.Kurt Zemph was handpicked for Luft Geist project not because he was any better than his predecessors, he just survived the training, the velocity, the drugs that gave him the stregth he needed. He was given a power suit that allowed him to fly at great speed. On May 9th the newly christened “Storm Geist” lead the 3 million man force to France. On June 11th Storm Geist met the “Flying F” in combat. Storm's enhanced body was much stronger than an average man but “The F” still had an edge. The “Flying F” was a true hero his power came from within and Storm Geist was defeated. The German Army took Paris in the following days but Storm Geist's failure was a major set back. The “Flying F” transferred to Britan. Project Luft Geist was transfered to SS Paranormal Divison. The SS insisted that to make Storm Geist an equal match, they would have to circumvent “The F's” super strength with range and more than equal power. Storm Geist's gloves were marked with ancient runes that allowed Kurt to manipulate raw energy. It was the 10th of July 1940 when Storm Geist took to the air again. Screaming through the skies like a black cloud, Operation Sealion had begun. Storm Geist's abilties to catch a Spitfire with his bare hands and mangle it's engine scared the RAF pilots. He was some sort of German spirit of the skies. The British hero Steel Duke teamed up with the “Flying F” to ground Storm Geist forever. It was a night bombing raid that they caught him on. An epic battle ensued but it was the combined might that brought Storm Geist down. British Authorites froze Storm Geist in a cryogentic storage container. After the war Storm Geist was shipped off to the United States for more secure holding. He has remained in the Ziggursky Detention Facility since his capture.
Appearance
Kurt Zemph's original suit was made of steel and aluminum.
It worked on anti-gravity principles that kept the user aloft. His black leather boots keep his feet warm in the high altitudes he fights in. His gloves had metal fins attached to help steer him in flight. These fins soon became an additional weapon and were sharpened to a razors edge. The most remarkable part of technology Storm Geist owns is his helmet. It contains a computer that monitors his suit, a target lock system for multiple enimies and serves as a breathing apparatus. All of Storm Geist's blasting power is attributed to the runes on his gloves. He had the runes tattooed on his arms so that he could use his energy manipulation without his suit.
Kurt was given an additional flying uniform for dress occasions that features a Iron Cross cape and III Reich coloring. Kurt had to return to Germany to recover this suit from a post-war allied reseach facility. In the new millennium Kurt had a new suit fashioned for the new times. A stealth suit that works on the same principles as his old flying armor. This new modern Storm Geist can cloak itself and runs silently unlike the drone of the 1940LuftGeist model.Out of the armor Kurt is never out of uniform. He still wears his honorary Luftwaffe jacket and flying scarf.
Personality
Storm Geist is a soldier but as a soldier he is Kurt Zemph. A German who fought at the beginning of World War II and woke up in the year 2006. Kurt learned how to speak English but still has an accent. He is not a evil-genius by any means. He was never asked to be a strategist. However as Storm Geist he needs to be able to improvise and think for himself on the battlefield. During the war Storm Geist took orders from his superior officers. In 2006 he hires himself out as a freelance specialist. Storm is polite and quick witted. As a conversationalist he is light hearted and by no means a excitable Nazi. In fact Storm's only ties to his wartime employers is his origin. Storm can keep a level head during a fight and rarely raises his voice. Storm likes a good fight and would like nothing better to fight Hero's for good sport. His own methodology about which side he is on doesn't particularly matter. Arachnos freed him from prison and Storm feels at home with the origins of Arachnos. To Kurt heroes miss out on all the adventure in being villainous.
