StreetShinobi, sometimes known as Shin for short, is an alias used by Abe Ro.
History
Before Paragon:
- Born in England.
- Diagnosed with Gigantism, strangely no ill effects.
- Moved to Paragon City when he was in his 20s.
In Paragon:
- Began freelancing as a Hired-Fist, taking jobs for various FBSA contacts.
- Rescued Penelope Yin's father at Penelope's request, now welcome at their store in Faultline.
- Spent a great deal of time in Croatoa, honed his skills in combat with the magical creatures dwelling within.
Personality
With people:
- Polite and disciplined around strangers.
- Appears to genuinely care about others, interested in what people are saying.
- He is aware of his great stature, and the curiosity it inspires.
- His voice is large and powerful but well-spoken, often speaking in statements with pauses in between.
- He feels he is not ready for a relationship until he has his life in order, as much as he'd like to settle with someone.
Far Shadow personally:
- Has Vigilante tendencies, he prioritises stopping evil from creating havok in the future to saving the lives of complete strangers.
Comments about his size are usually taken in stride, he's very aware of how tall and heavy he is and tolerates the sometimes inane comments about his body. He is grateful for his stature, though it can sometimes be a curse given how little amenities were built for someone such as him.
Powers & Abilities
StreetShinobi uses a bastardised version of Martial Arts which emphasises his brute strength and size, yet retains the precision necessary to inflict critical blows to enemy weakpoints. He can further exploit the opportunity to strike weak-points by using his team-mates as a distraction. (He can deal critical hits, the chance to crit increases with every nearby teammate).
Trivia
- When Abe was just eight years old he was big enough to drive a car, but soon outgrew the driver's side by age 14.
- The original concept of StreetShinobi was derived by a very similar character, FarShadow. Retaining most of his looks but with a backstory change that makes him no longer preatorian or have the Ninjitsu powerset. He used to be called Dean Ro, however the new StreetShinobi is called Abe, the surname was kept as a memoramdum.
