Sutra-Dhara Anima/FFTRules
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
The overall guidelines are simple:
- only Public Domain works are up for consideration. Licensing fees decrease our take from the box office receipts!
- everything -- including torrid smut -- is better with some Wire Fu
- when in doubt, when the scene drags, the Monkey King shows up! maybe in disguise?
- Jackie Chan cameos in every story. So does Sammo Hung. Occasionally Maureen O'Hara appears when Sutra gets tired of a useless female character and turns her into an Action Girl of whatever moral alignment.
- Bollywood tropes may appear, though Sutra is not very much likely to throw in a song-and-dance number unless she has a professional dance choreographer handy. Sari Scenes do happen, especially romantic or character-advancing moments.
- Buddhist mythology often gets raided. So does about any other mythology she's ever heard, really, and the farther away its origin from northeastern India, the more improperly it will be portrayed.
- Notable persons in the audience are likely to appear as characters. Sometimes the connection between the real person and the character portrayed is tenuous at best.
