FBSA File # 117-3565-SB

Hero ID: Switch Blade

Name: Dirk Claymore

Skills: Weapons training, Kenpo, computer hacking

Signature: Retractable blades concealed within his combat suit's forearms

Notes: Dirk Claymore is the third person to bear the Switch Blade identity since 1965. The last was his father, Kris Claymore. Claymore senior was killed by the Malta Group. It is unclear whether Dirk's father was working undercover or was a traitor actually working with Malta who was caught in the "executive purge" of 1986, when the two schisms within Malta resorted to bloody infighting.

Dirk Claymore is a chip off the old block: violent, with a certain "moral flexibility," but so far seems to obey the letter of the law. He bears watching. Automated surveillance continues.

ADDENDA

Date: 12-01-2010

Notes: Switch Blade received a commendation for his part in thwarting an attack by Malta Group on Talos Island. Claymore prevented an attack upon the FBSA Field Office headed up by Agent Dayton Ward.

- Agent Kylie Westrun

Date: 1-13-2012

Notes: Several reports of excessive brutality arose after Claymore disappeared from drone surveillance. During standard follow-up inquiries, no one was willing to go on record about alleged brutality. FBSA junior officer Jerry Dunham insists witnesses are terrified of Claymore or have been actively intimidated by him. This assessment is not supported by either supervisor K. Westrun-Ward nor this agent.

- Agent Douglas Allen
