Well first I'm trying to get the text to not run over the picture so I can continue drawing up this nice little ditty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there! Problem there was the text being indented -- MediaWiki interprets a space at the beginning of a line as an instruction that that line is to be rendered as a block of code in monospace font and won't break the line normally, it needs hard returns. If you'd like to indent text for display, each   you put at the start of the line will translate into a single space, or surround the text you want indented with HTML like so:

The text you want indented
</div>
