Tatiana Zakhareva was born in Kirov, USSR, in 1972 and was quickly discovered for her skills at theoretical physics, and brought to Moscow University at the age of 17, a not unusual feat in Russia. During the strangeness that reigned during the fall of the USSR, she was able to cobble together a spaceship based on her theories, and vanished from the world's eye in 1992.

Affiliations
Tatiana is the head of the Extra-Terrene Defence Force, a group she has founded since finding herself in the Rogue Isles. What she wants to do over there is currently not well-known.
Personality
She believes eminently in her own skills and equipment, to overcome any obstacle. She believes in far more personal license than she did in Russia, but she also believes in dealing with the consequences of such license. In short, she is arrogant, brilliant, conceited, and devious. She fully believes in her own rightness, and that makes her dangerous.
Powers
All of her scientific theories hinge upon what she terms 'M-dimensional shards in N-dimensional space' and their interactions. She states that from these come science, magic, and everything in between, and she does seem to be quite capable of telling the flavor and nature of someone's powers.
Robots
Tatiana can, at times, be incited to tell about her free willed humaniform robots. Supposedly, they had something close enough to be a soul for magic to work on them, due to her work with shards. When asked where they are now, she usually replies with, "Everyone leaves the garden of Eden."
In any case, the robot guardians she has now, while not free willed, are certainly formidable. Most of them were damaged before she returned to Earth, and she is currently working on repairing them. Suffice it to say, it goes slowly.
Force Field
The other end of her shard-based technology, her gloves and boots are capable of projecting fields of force, spherically shaped so as to take a minimum of energy to maintain.
Teleportation
As the final use she makes of her shard-based technology, she is able to teleport, theoretically to any point. In practice, she needs set points to teleport between, or a direct line of sight, for it to work. Personal Teleportation shares space with her force fields, while she has other teleporters on her orbiting spaceship.
Abilities
She had already obtained her Bachelors, and was well on her way to her Masters and Doctorate in Physics. The paths she has taken have given her skills well in excess of what she expected, and she has learned much of other fields as well. Her theoretical knowledge of magic is quite advanced, even if she rarely uses it.
Weaknesses and Limitations
While she sees the advantage in numbers, she rarely sees when she has overextended herself, or why she might wish to rely upon others. In addition, she often confuses potential power with actual, often leading her to make foolish decisions in the heat of the moment.
