Joining the Tsoo
At the age of 17 now a High School dropout, Ong was lured into the world of street gangs and his violent tendencies caught the attention of the police and worse; The Tsoo. The Tsoo, by this time was now a well established and influential gang operating out of Talos Island and Independence Port.Finally feeling a sense of belonging, he was forged into a deadly assassin and trained to wield a blade with deadly efficiency. Under the tutorship of Striking Serpent a high ranking Dragonfly of the group he became one of his most trusted enforcers, gaining the tittle and tattoos of a Red Ink Man.
Of Skulls and Trolls
His life would take a turn for the worse when after being sent on a mission to eliminate some members of the Skulls a gang who had thought to expand to Independence Port. Having more than enough problems with the The Family portside, the Freakshow who would turn up from nearby Terra Volta, the Warriors of Talos Island, the Circle of Thorns "recruitment's", the Council's constant bouts with the 5th Column, not to mention the myriad of heroes, a Giant Octopus and a Ghost Ship to boot, it was clear that they would rather never have to deal with the death worshiping Skulls.By that point in time Ong had become a well respected enforcer for the Tsoo and was sent alone to eliminate the Skulls and their recently opened Superadine labs. Before he could even make a move the labs were suddenly attacked by some rouge Trolls who had come to raid for the "Supes".
Caught in the middle of the Chaos, Ong while a powerful swordsman was no match for Trolls high on Superadine. He was knocked unconscious and fell into a vat of the deadly drug, hours later after the smoked had cleared Ong Awoke no longer the human he once was.
A different kind of prison
When he regained consciousness Ong was alerted by the PPD joined by Freedom Phalanx member Sister Psyche who had come to investigate the disturbance reported earlier. Confused and surrounded his training was still in effect and he instinctively reached for his sword, but was stopped in his tracks; Not because of S.Psyche's powers but of seeing the green hue of his skin, seeing his reflection in the remaining liquid he saw that his skin color was a shade of green and he had horns protruding from his forehead .Before he could react he was apprehended by the PPD and as he tried to escape he started to emit a noxious vapor from his body that disoriented the police, but was apprehended by Sister Psyche's mental traps. Instead of being sent to the Zigursky Penitentiary he was instead sent to the SERAPH laboratories in Atlas Park for investigation of his unique mutation.
Study
Under the watchful eye of the SERAPH staff Ong was studied and to the best of their knowledge and some helpful information from Freedom Phalanx member Numina, it had been confirmed that the magical tattoos used by the Tsoo that can Siphon power from their enemies had instead sucked the superadine into Ong's system and gave him the symptoms commonly associated with overdosing on the drug.But in Ong's case the damage to his mind was not as severe compared to the rest of the Trolls gang, he kept his mental capacities but was confirmed to have a stunted mental growth being unable to go beyond middle school level of intelligence, mostly unnoticeable as he was a high school dropout to begin with. This also gave him an unforeseen side effect as he can no longer fully absorb the power from his enemies as before, instead he would siphon the powers from the superadyne aura he can now produce a "perpetual machine" of power that would grant him an accelerated metabolism and a never ending power supply.
