Personality
Leon is a young energetic man who some would argue was blessed or cursed with the potential of near limitless power. This potential brought about a very cocky and arrogant attitude when he was younger, but now he uses that aspect of his personality to cover up what he truly thinks and feels knowing people are easier to deal with when they expect little from you. This futher extends to his shameless behavior with women and has resulted in getting him into great deals of trouble with the opposite sex.
The History of Avalon's Blade: Marcus Faylen
Avalon and the First Pilgrimage
Marcus Faylen, the original Blade of Avalon served as the commanding officer to a select group of soldiers from his homeworld. As kind as he was honorable, Marcus was the youngset Knight-Commander his military force had ever seen in their centuries of existance. Prior to his coming to Primal Earth, Marcus fought to save his world with his many soldiers from a man who would sought to become a god by accessing the vast magic in Avalon's laylines. A fight that ultimately failed. Seeing the loss of his homeworld as being inevitable, Marcus gave a controversial order for a vast evacuation via an arcane ritual. This order resulted in a splintering of his forces and as a result, only the few who were willing to make the journey made it to Primal Earth. Greatly weakened from the ritual, Marcus immiediatley began working towards regaining his full strength whilst forging alliances on Earth to better aid his people.
The Journey to Hell
Not long after coming to Earth did Marcus find himself face-to-face with one of the first of many challenges his new home would offer. One of his first friends and eventual best friend Shadow Mokadara was sent to Hell. With little to lose, Marcus quickly joined a team consisting of Moka's lover, adopted daughter, and other friends and made the trip into the Nine Circles of Hell to save his friend's soul. While fighting through the many layers the Knight-Commander was forced to face many of his own internal demons and resulted in awakening a cursed power in his races' blood that increased both his power and his bloodlust. While everyone came out of Hell scarred, Marcus was one of the few who would have to struggle to keep his scars from showing and would be dogged by his demons for many months to come.
The Coming of the Overlord
In the following months after the journey to Hell, Marcus became much closer with those he fought alongside and eventually came to confide in them his percieved failures in protecting his homeworld as well as his struggle with his cursed powerd. The extent to which these troubles haunted him became abundantly clear when an monstrous entity known as Overlord Zetta came to Earth seeking out Shadow Mokadara. After seeing how his friend was possessed and the risk Zetta posed, Marcus attacked his best friend and nearly killed him. He watched as the Mediporter teleported his friend's body away certain he had succeeded in what he felt was best for Earth even though he hated himself for killing his friend. Later he would learn that Moka survived their encounter with the only real damage being a loss of trust between Marcus and his friends. Despit this, the Knight-Commander wanted to make amends and vowed to fight against Zetta to the bitter end. However, his failure at killing Shadow Mokadara weighed heavily on his mind as it compounded with his failure to save his own world. He was almost certain he was going to lose a second home, but this time he was willing to die with it.
