Imagine being able to chew gum and then harden it to the point where it is stronger then steel!!
An unexpected event at the one of Paragon's largest candy manufacturers leads to a great discovery. After returning home, she began to experiment with gum and its conductive properties. What followed next was shear genius, or pure luck. Thru the use of electrical current she has discovery a way to molecularly change the properties of gum to match that of steel. With her new found power she now takes to the streets stopping crime one bubble at time!
Who I am and what Im about!
- Bubblegum Bomb is in her mid 20's
- She has a 'bubbly' personality.
- Has A.D.H.D. when it comes to technology and tinkering with stuff.
- And is a little bit socially awkward.
How I did it. It all began from a simple accident...
I was working as a gum taster for the Krey Kandies Company. While on a routine day at work, one of my station monitors stopped working. As a joke, someone suggested to just fix it with a piece of gum. Oddly enough, after some tinkering and a piece of gum...it worked. It was a simply fix, but one that sparked my interest.
Could Gum be used for other purposes?
Once home, I tore into my ideas and began tinkering. Small things at first. Being almost obsessed, things progressively got larger over the course of few months. All of which lead to nothing more then a pile of used gum.
Then it happened...!
I got up to turn off the television and got a static shocked. Must have been from my bunny slippers. But it was enough for me to think...electricity. One of the few things I had not tried. After some thinking and a little bit of luck, I was able to change the gum on a molecular level. It became extremely durable, yet light weight and almost clear. It wasn't long before I was able to manipulate the gum. Though it did take some practice.
And from that moment on, things were never the same and I always carry gum…
High Powered Electrical Discharge System
This small compact system is capable of producing a projectible electrical discharge. These can be as small as a static shock or as large as one gigavolt. The gloves are powered by a suit that collects static electricity produced by the body and stores it in capacitors located on the belt. The gloves can be adjusted to alter the power, speed and size of the discharge. In rare occasions, a full surged discharge can be done, releasing a Thunderous Blast. This renders the belt drained of all power until more static electricity can be built up.

Rocket Boots
Rocket Boots. Every girl needs a pair. There are only two types of people; Those who have them and those who wish they had them. The boots allow the user to Hover or Fly at will. They have built in Gyroscopic sensors that are used to detect tilting when hovering, which indicates a departure from perfect balance. Motors driving the jets are commanded as needed to bring the user back into balance.
Bubblegum
Bubblegum. A type of chewing gum especially designed for blowing bubbles. Bubblegum is available in many different colors and flavors. The most common flavor is the distinctive one also known as "bubblegum", which is a combination of wintergreen, peppermint, vanilla and cinnamon. Bubblegum with this flavor is traditionally colored a light shade of pink. Bubblegum tends to be more viscous than standard chewing gum: this facilitates bubble blowing. Some brands are designed to be non-sticky so they do not stick to one's face.
What I can do with it!
Shielding
I focused on deflecting sheer brute force (smash/lethal/melee) since it appeared to be one of the more common dangers when fighting crime. Crowbars? Check! Knives? Check! Punch to the face? Check! All seemed to have extreme difficulty in getting thru my 'Deflection Shield'. It just seemed a natural progression going into projectiles. Sure you can deflect a knife being thrust at you, but a bullet? It required a different amount electricity to produce the same level of protection. One side effect of the 'Insulation Shield' was it was also durable against the elements and unusual energies. It was probably due to the amount of electrically I had to use.
One draw back I discovered thru the creation of the shields was that I could not combine the shields into one. The amount of electricity required to run it was far too great. I am only able to produce one 'Super Bubble' around myself. I was however able to adjust the size of the bubble. The smaller it was, the stronger it became, more of a 'Personal Force Field'. And of course the larger it was, the weaker it became, though it still offered some level of protection. The large bubble was more team oriented. The amount of power needed to run it in this size also created a static field, preventing teammates from being stunned.

Force
After using my shields to help protect fellow heroes of Paragon, I wanted to be more involved in the action. If making a bubble smaller made it stronger, could I use it as a weapon? Thus, my 'Force Bolt' was born. Focusing the power into a small bubble, it became my favorite new toy. It was light and didn’t inflect a lethal amount of damage. Just a swift blow to knock them back.
Things went well from that point; I was shielding and protecting my team with my bubblegum. That was, until I found myself surrounded.... My fellow team members were unable to help. I used as many 'Force Bolts' as I could create. It just wasn’t enough. Luckily I had my Personal Bubble, or it would have been certain doom. But it opened my eyes. I needed something to help for when I get overwhelmed. After some deep thought and a whole lot of testing I was able to duplicate the Force Bolt on a much larger scale. With the ability to push or knockdown anything it came in contact with. This new Force Bubble was just what I was looking for.
The Bubblegum Bomb
Last, but definitely not least. During testing for the force bubble, one of the issues I kept having was the bubble exploding before it was of any use. I eventually corrected the issue but decide to explore this phenomenon further. I found that by adding a small spark within the bubble it would produce a small timed explosion. My personal 'Bubblegum Bomb', now my trademark move. Doesn’t every superhero have one?
