Criminal Activites

- Robbed various locations in Paragon City as part of a crime spree. The Crafter then proceeded to assault the heroes that thwarted his actions. He was promptly taken into custody.

- Participated in a mass prison riot in an attempt to escape the Ziggursky penitentiary located in Brickstown. The attempt was thwarted by the city's heroes.

- The Crafter, along with two other known criminals, managed to escape from the Ziggursky penitentiary.

- Joined the criminal group known as the Backlash Brigade along with four other notorious villains. They attempted to destroy the barriers of the Ziggursky penitentiary, releasing it's criminals. They were thwarted.

Known Background Information

As a child, Thomas Huang always had an affinity for tinkering with various gadgets and devices, whether it was simply enhancing a standard remote into a device capable of mastering most items that required infrared beams for control, or combining the toaster, his clock, and a toy spider into a functioning robot. In a society thriving on the latest technologies, however, his meager talents tended to be overlooked, earning him no fame or recognition while branding him with the title of nerd throughout his time spent in school.

Determined to make everyone realize what he had to offer wasn't simply third-rate abilities at creating what most would consider "toys", Thomas would constantly push the envelope on what he could construct. By the time he grew to the age of seventeen he was capable of making nearly anything out of common household supplies, his greatest feat being a large, functioning robot made from a refrigerator, dryer, car motor, and scrap metal. And yet, all of his attempts to impress his friends and family fell short. All he had managed to earn were various scholarships to universities in Rhode Island. But this isn't what he sought. Thomas wanted to become famous and recognized by people all over, not just another engineer slaving away in the labs.

Gathering as many materials as he could, the young man, now eighteen, made an old, abandoned auto shop his new home. Day and night he worked on new machines capable of massive destruction. He was determined that if he couldn't impress society, then he would intimidate and make it fear him. Fashioning a small army of robotic creations, Thomas Huang adopted the title of "The Crafter" and began his spree of crime in the hopes of becoming more than just another face in the crowd.

Powers and Weaknesses

The Crafter is a genius when it comes to anything robotic. He has constructed a legion of mechanical minions and uses them in his attempts to become an infamous villain. He also dabbles in various weaponry and devices, but he always falls back on constructing a robot to do his fighting for him.

He possesses minimal defensive and offensive technology on his person. This means that, if his machines were incapacitated, he would be incredibly vulnerable to any attack. Due to his reliance on technology, electromagnetic weapons should be able to cause disruption.
