ID as it Appears in Game

Riley Alchevay is a young mutant whose powers over kinetics manifested while playing first person shooters. Having been picked on in school, he used his powers to project air soft pellets with devastating force. If it had not been for the teen hero the Patriotic Spark, Riley’s revenge against his tormentors may have been fatal. In the Zig, he listened to many different prisoner’s stories of mutant superiority and evolution. Saved from the Zig by Run Riot, Riley is unsure who to trust or what to believe in. At this point, he wanders the Rogue Isles in hopes of excitement and action, but secretly misses his family.

As the First Person Shooter, Riley uses his kinetic abilities to reduce damage, move at incredible speeds, control his bullet’s flight paths, and to re-invigorate himself and allies.

Personality

Riley forcibly grew up a lot in prison, but still has a very immature attitude in some things. While he is trying to reason out his actions more before committing to them, he still gets caught up in the ‘game’ of adventuring, hot dogging and shooting up his enemies with a reckless glee, often shouting “HEADSHOT!” mid-battle (sometimes over his commlink).

Despite being shy, he feels more social around fellow mutants, getting a sense of belonging. This sense extends to other super humans as well to a lesser extent.

Powers

Riley's kinetic control works by an unknown means if not an unknown method. Objects in motion can be sped up and slowed down, but need a kinetic 'spark', much like a match can start a fire. Objects of increased kinetic motion can be manipulated far more readily than gently rolling or still items. The following are ways in which Riley has used this power, thought he will likley find more over time.

-He can establish a kinetic buffer by stripping energy from one target and moving it to another, providing a bit of anti-force to slow bullets and such. ((OOC: Explanation for healing)) -May increase kinetic force of various attack forms several fold, allowing plastic pellets to become as effective as armor piercing rounds and to make the devastating attacks of his allies even more deadly. -May increase his personal speed enough to manifest superhuman acceleration. While he currently accomplishes this by draining the speed of others, he will soon accomplish this by mere will. -Can now accelerate internal kinetics to a point where the pellets he shoots heat up and burst into flames over a small area. -Can accelerate the speeds of himself and other to the point where they can leap fantastic distances

Abilities

Riley has a knack for the logistics and tactics of firearms combat which he seems to have gleaned from various first person shooters he has played. While he seldom does so anymore, he has a talent for art which has been left undeveloped in the Zig and may eventually be squandered. His intelligence level is average. While he is a very good FPS player, he has found his skill seems to go down as he gets more used to the realities of combat as he starts to use real life tactics in games where they are not beneficial.

Affiliations

The First Person Shooter currently is a member of Inevitable Evolution.

Miscellenia

Riley has been slowly but steadily been developing scales since his powers first manifested. Their major function seems to be as a buffer to the kinetic forces he regularly applies to his own body. The green coloration they've taken on might be a chlorophyll-like chemical used for absorbing energy more efficiently. His hair has become increasingly stiff and seems to be taking on feather like qualities.

Nicknames include Doug and Shooty.

On more than one occasion, Riley has been called Emo- without merit.

Riley's battle armor is meant to be fearsome looking, mostly to deter rank and file Arachnos from starting fights with him. Overtime, he has replaced much of the original plastic decoration with real bones.

Recent Events

A girl, looking fairly similar to Riley, has shown up claiming to be the First Person Shooter. She seems to know everything Riley knows, but says she was a girl the whole time.

Some questioning by Inevitable Evolution and a DNA analysis by Battlebriar conclude that this girl was a clone. The clone has taken up the name Daisy for the time being. The question being asked now is where is the real First Person Shooter.

The real FPS had been chased around Mercy and Port Oakes for several days while practicing commando training. While not comfortable with his clone, he didn't try to kill her.

Recently, Riley has taken to fighting the Rikti like a duck to water. As he thinks of it, war is where his sociopathic tendencies can be put to positive use.

Roleplay

The First Person Shooter may very well have mistaken another hero with lightning for the Patriotic Spark. As it would be more fun for an arch to be played by someone else, anyone who would like the job of having kicked my butt in the past feel free to ask me about it.
