Personality
King seems absurdly laid back, likely because of his apparent lack of mortality. He is also arrogant and self-centered, focusing almost solely on his own pleasures, although he proudly lives up to his word – but exactly his word: no more or no less than what he promised. In addition to his ever-present lust for violence, King also has a strict personal code of honor – he will never violate the letter of an agreement, although he may gleefully disregard its spirit.
Powers
Super Strength
In prison, King's strength was scientifically tested and shown to match Statesman's, even in a state of rest. In order to keep him contained, they had to use an experimental serum which actually restrained his physical prowess, making him significantly less of a threat. Since escaping the compound has begun to wear down, though it may take some time for him to return to his prime.
Resilience
King's skin in her natural state is incredibly tough, much like body armor. Compounding this is the fact he seems unkillable. Unlike most invulnerable heroes or villains, King seems to actually take damage, but is able to survive any injury no matter how grievous. He's taken hundreds of bullets escaping banks, suffered head-on collisions with speeding vehicles, and was even torn in half by a feral hero during his capture. He simply crawled back to his legs, which fused back to his body.
Origin
Even as an infant it was known Elias King would be different. His skin was ashen, his eyes similarly grey. As he grew up his body took on a muscular shape without any apparent effort, and by twelve he was six feet tall and almost two hundred pounds. He started his life of crime around sixteen, and it was during a drug deal gone bad that he discovered his greatest power of all.
The man he'd been selling to pulled a handgun, demanding King give him the drugs without payment, and when King refused he was shot twice in the chest. Shockingly, King not only lived, but charged the would-be killer and took another two to the chest before snapping the man's neck. A man witnessed Elias's act of self defence and, panicking, contacted the police saying there'd been a murder.
And thus Elias King became a criminal, wanted for the murder of a man who'd tried to kill him.
