Thermite is a NPC character found in AE missions. He is used as a henchman and for background stories. A rank and file villain, he is free to be used in other AE missions, info given below on his stats, and his history expanded.

Character History

Thermite has had a less then successful career so far as a super-powered criminal, considered by most of Paragon City's heroes to be a C-lister at best. Majority of his crimes are of bank robberies and jewel heists types. He also tends to be a henchman for more capable villains, letting them call the shots.

Recently, Thermite has been accepted in the ranks of The Union of Dire Ambition, a major step for him. In what possibly could be his first assignment from the Union, Thermite was assigned to be a henchman for The Traveler. Thermite was then sent to a parallel dimension, one in which the world population was undergoing a devastating zombie plague, to protect a dimensional transmitter of The Traveler's desgin. With a squad of Union troopers, Thermite defended the device from the zombie hordes. Unfortunately, Hyperion Force, trying to find a lost comrade, came to that dimension to investigate a source of "dimensional static" that The Traveler's device created. They fought Thermite and the Union troops and beat them soundly.

Hyperion Force brought Thermite back to their home reality placed him in The Zig. He was there until Entropy Legion broke him out. He is currently at large.

Personality

He is nothing short of a loser. He has tremendous power potential, but lacks any real understanding beyond the basics of his powers. He also lacks any imagination to be able to push his powers beyond the most basic fire/ice blasts he is able to do currently. He is a simple, lazy person who is content with simple robberies while using powers that could make him a lesser god.

Powers

Thermite can generate intense heat and cold within his body at the same time. With his powers active, waves of heat and cold cover him with alternating sheets of flame and ice. These thermic shifts also increases his physical strength and durability to superhuman levels. He can create constructs of fire and ice, such as fireballs or ice slides, and is also able to generate waves of intense heat or cold. Even with his powers inactive he is immune to temperature extremes.

Character is based off of Marvel's Equinox and Thermite characters.

You can add Thermite for your own AE missions by copy and pasting the information found in the Critter Info Box into a plain text file from either WordPad (for PCs) or TextEdit (for Mac). Name the file and change the extension to .critter. Critter files are nothing more than plain text files with .critter as its file extension, so you can also edit other critter files this way too.

Next, add the file to your Custom Critter folder in the CoH section of your hard drive. For PCs the folder is typically c drive > Program Files > coh > Custom Critter. For a Mac, you right click on the CoH program, typically found in the Applications folder, and chose Show Package Contents. You then navigate Contents > Resources > transgaming > c_drive > coh > Custom_Critter
