Personality
Background
Alternate Future
Time Crash comes from a future where the Galaxy City incident was averted. This started a string of events that at first made the timeline seem better than the one unfolding for him now. Galaxy City was spared, Statesman and Sister Psyche lived into the 22nd century, TUNNEL systems spared Praetoria a grisly fate, and Paragon City remained the shining beacon of hope full of heroics it is known for.
However, the various tragedies having been averted, Earth was not ready for the disasters to come. By the time Time Crash is born, the world is one large wasteland, dotted with small bastions of humanity who have survived.
Paragon City
The remnants of Paragon City and the surrounding area are ruled by what the average survivor as The Five.
1. Most of the organized crime and Praetorian refugees have been solidified under the Sprang crime family.
2. The Circle of Thorns absorbed the Skulls and Hellions and other small-time magic operations as the Empire of Oranbega.
3. The Tsoo, Warriors, and what was left of the Council and 5th Column became the Syndicate.
4. Nemesis and his automatons kept a sizable chunk of the pie.
5. Longbow and Vanguard merged and absorbed the Sky Raiders. Unfortunately, they are not the peacekeepers they once were.
These five groups have begun to rebuild the city in their own oppressive image. The places where these groups have not yet claimed, such as Galaxy City where Time Crash was born, are home to resistance fighters and others just wishing to live a life free of oppressors.
Lightner Family Witches
Pamela Lightner, Time Crash's mother, is from a long line of witches. Naturally, she taught her children her family's ways. Time Crash learned the ways of time manipulation, such as temporal snares, snatching temporal duplicates from the past or future to overlay on the present for such things as healing or refilling a drink, and glimpsing into the future or past for insight.
The Crash
It is still unknown to Time Crash who started the Time Crash, but someone broke Reality. The witches of Time Crash's group as well as others versed in magic were able to hold a bubble of protection as Reality unwove itself. Though the bubble collapsed and he saw everything he knew consumed by the Time Crash, Time Crash tried to form a new bubble, but this act threw him back in time. Far enough back that once he got his bearings he knew what had to be done. He had to prevent the aversion of the Galaxy City crisis.
