Trickcard

Louis and Janie Moreau had no idea what they were about to get themselves into we they decided that they wanted a big family. They wasted no time and soon Janie was pregnant with twin boys. It wasn't long after they were born that she was pregnant again. Son after son, Janie desperately wanted a daughter. On her seventh pregnancy she finally got her wish. After that Janie was done having kids, the couple had eight children now and the first two were a handful as it was. Beau and Mathu, the twins, were the oldest and most rebellious of the Moreau lot. The two of them could never stay out of trouble and were well known for being in and out of a jail cell. Cal was next up, he was a good kid for the most part. He got good grades and played sports, but would often get caught up in the twins antics. Then there was Jordan, the local prankster and nuisance. Lou Jr. would be next and always followed Jordan around as his accomplice. Next, Joey, the one with a temper and a loudmouth. The youngest son was Davey, he was also the nicest and the most quiet of the boys. And finally, there was Léonie, the only daughter. She was as sweet as can be and was best friends with with the brother closest to her in age, Davey.

With so many brothers, Léonie was doomed from the start, especially with most of them being so popular. Having friends was hard for her. Girls would use her to get close to one of her brothers, and if any boy dare tried to speak to her they would have to meet Joey's fist. Because of this, Léonie mostly kept to herself. And when she started getting terrible headaches the only person she had to confide in was Davey. She described her headaches as being horrible and so painful that there were times where she couldn't even move. Davey tried to convince her to go to the hospital, but she refused. He then suggested that she go see their estranged grandmother, Isabel. A woman known for her strange home remedies that seem to cure just about anything.

Grandma Izzy was the black sheep of the family. She was a wild card in her younger years, which put her at odds with her parents. Her not knowing who Janie's father was made her daughter turn against her as well. In her old age, she was still a spitfire and currently worked at a carnival a few towns over as a palm reader. Léonie rushed over to Izzy's home to see her. Izzy didn't seem surprised to see her and was even standing outside to greet Léonie as she drove up.

Léonie explained her headaches to her grandmother, who only seemed to be half listening. Léonie begged her to help, to give her anything to make the pain go away. Izzy just smiled and pulled out a deck of tarot cards that she claimed were 'special.' She then began to explain to Léonie how her headaches were different, that she was special like the tarot cards. Izzy took one card from the deck, the Magician, and handed it to her. Léonie was confused, but took the card and listened on as Izzy then explained that Léonie was psychic much like herself and that card would help keep the pain at bay and help develop her powers further. It would be her trick card, the ace up her sleeve.

Léonie began working at the carnival to spend more time with her grandmother, but small town life wasn't for her. As Léonie got older and her powers got stronger so did her desire to get out and do something important with her life. She was bored and sought excitement, as well as a way to put her powers to use. She decided to move up north to Rhode Island after Izzy suggested it, much to the rest of her family's displeasure. She moved to Paragon City, the city of heroes, and found her way to help people.

Léonie "Leon" Moreau is now known as an average girl living in Faultline. Well, average by Paragon standards as her eyes glow red at all times. She mostly keeps to her self and doesn't bother anyone. When she dons a mask she becomes Trickcard, psychic hero extraordinaire. Trickcard is much like the Magician. The card is about cunning and charisma, its a sign for those who are witty, inventive, and persuasive. Trickcard can read minds, use telekinesis, and is showing great skill in parkour.
