Chris Yasuda was the subject of Project: Ultra, one of Lord Recluse's many attempts to discover the secrets of the mythical Well of the Furies. After science had failed time and time again, Recluse turned to the Mu mystics. The incantation took years to prepare and ended with disastrous results. Their failure left no survivors and Yasuda's body was never recovered.
