ORIGINS

Tirith, a planet several light years from Earth, sent scouts during the Early Victorian Era. One of them, Kalik Zor-em, took a wife for himself after living life as a human for many years. A couple years after marriage, he took her back to Tirith, only to find that a tyrant had taken control of the planet.

Malik Zor-em, none other than Kalik's brother. Kalik at first tried to accept it, out of thinking of the good for his wife and unborn child. In the end, his morals guided him to start a resistance against his own brother.

War was waged for a year, Kalik had heard that his brother, now calling himself The Tyrant, had a planet-destroying bomb. Fearful for the lives of his wife and child, he sent them to Earth in linked cryogenic pods.

Tragically, on the way, the child's pod was pulled from the mother's into a passing planet's gravity. It stayed in orbit for a full century, while the mother's landed on Earth only ten years after leaving Tirith.

After many years, the pod escaped the orbit and went on it's flight path, crash landing into the streets of London, England. Her mother had long since passed away of old age. A visiting Cambridge professor, and his wife, found the baby. They took it in, took care of it.

Many years later, Kyra Davis Zor-em, is discovering that the Earth's yellow sun grants her several powers as a Half-Tirithian, as well as several weaknesses.

Though there's more to the story. Unbeknownst to her, back on her home planet, Malik, now The Tyrant, won the war. Using a bomb on his own sun, he killed 98% of the population by altering the sun to a red dwarf. The resulting radiation killed all on the surface of the planet.

He then used a second bomb after several years, to change the sun to a yellow dwarf, discovering that it granted him immense power he used the sun's energy to conquor every planet in his Solar System. With new knowledge in hand, he sent forth a bomb to the next solar system, making a yellow dwarf of that sun. Using the Yellow Dwarves as the source of his military might he's been conquoring every planet in the general direction of Earth.

Planets rise and fall beneath the fiery gaze of The Tyrant...

In another reality, Kyra never made it to Earth, and was instead taken by Malik himself. Raised to be his loyal hand, she was sent to Earth to prepare for his arrival. This Kyra, known as Ultraviolent Girl, accidently found herself being sucked through a dimensional portal by the Rikti, ending up in this reality. There exists two Kyra's. One with full knowledge of where she came from, yet is blackhearted to the core. The other, the sweet and good Ultraviolet Girl, oblivious of her past, yet striving her best to do what is right.

Story 1: Eternal Darkness

The month of October heralds in the fall, as the constant darkness sets in. The undead rise, the blood moon waxes everything in an eerie glow, constantly. Ultraviolet Girl waits, weakens, and hopes.

The beginning of the month was alright, she fought off zombies. The midmonth came and a bulletwound healed so slowly. She stopped being able to fly. Worried, she stared at the sky, hoping the sun would return when the month ended.

So it was that she stuck her costume in the closet, and donned her regular clothes. So it was that she watched on the sidelines as the other heroes battled. Feeling useless, removed, wanting more than anything to do what was right... But in the dark, she was the same as everyone else, soul-bared, and vulnerable...
