Character History
Una Watson was born into a moderately wealthy liberal Californian family, and lead a normal and well adjusted life until the age of 16, when her mutant powers started to surface.
A powerful force field started to grow from her body, making her completely invulnerable to harm, but also leaving her in a state of enforced nudity, as the field would violently repel and shred any clothing she attempted to wear.
After the initial shock, Una and her parents took steps to deal with this development as well as they could. A liberal west coast attitude and plentiful supply of money helped, affording her space and privacy and enrolment in an online mutant school for students with problems attending on-site classes, learning instead over the internet and in shared telepathic space schoolrooms.
Without many of the normal distractions of high school life, and realising that she had quite a challenge ahead of her, Una threw herself into her studies, specialising in Computer Programming, IT, and Economics.
She worked out to stay in shape with gymnastics, and tried Tai Chi, yoga and meditation to improve mental control over her field, but could never progress beyond wearing even the smallest lightest thong for more than five minutes.
Through the online mutant community, Una became aware of the avant garde circus Anti-Mutant Hysteria organised by Ace V as a means of making the public see mutants use their gifts non-violently. Intrigued by the "anything goes" attitudes of the mutant arts community, and sensing a place where she could be accepted, Una approached Ace first online, then meeting him in person at her parent's house before making arrangements to join the next American tour.
Ace came up with the idea that Una could wear body paint for her act, this proved to be workable, and together they came up with the stage name and tagline: "Una Tease - you can look but you cannot touch". Una became a headliner act for the tour, being set on fire, covered in molten metal in a reinforced cage, bursting out of her cocoon as the metal hardened, and diving into a trash compactor full of used cars from a highwire, to emerge from the resulting block of scrap metal unscathed.
Having had a taste for public life, and having invested her earnings wisely from the roadshow, Una decided to settle down in Paragon City as the one place she could maybe fit in. She was able to afford some training with top martial arts instructors including Liberty, who showed her how to extend her field and use it offensively. A reinforced apartment in Talos, a costume made from bodypaint and custom made nigh-indestructible briefs that just skirted public indecency laws, and a crime fighting licence, and Una Tease was ready to make her name as a force for good.

Una has worked with the mutant circus Anti Mutant Hysteria.
She operated solo for the start of her crimefighting career, worked for a while with the Midnight Coalition. She joined S.C.O.R.P.I.O. for a while, on the advice of her friend and mentor, Ace V, in order to provide high profile mutant role models.
After a recent series of investment windfalls, Una is now the majority shareholder in Unbreakable Constraint Inc., a company that develops supervillain incarceration technology.
Personality
Una comes across as friendly, cheerful and easy going. She has a tendency to gush over her teammates performance, perhaps in an insincere way at times, mainly out of a desire to motivate them to do most of the work for her.
Una is primarily motivated by money. This is not entirely down to greed, since her unique condition makes her require a fair amount of expensive equipment in order to lead as normal a life as possible, and each public outing costs her money in material costs for her costume. This can also make her become impatient when landed with a slow-moving team.
Una is quite eager to lead the charge on any mission, referring to her non-invulnerable teammates as "squishies".
Una is vegetarian, and a devotee of all things "New Age". She is prone to dishing out advice to teammates regarding yoga, meditation or diet to fix their problems, perceived or real. She's lead a relatively sheltered life, and tends to assume others share her liberal middle class existence and upbringing.
Powers
Una's body projects an impenetrable force field about 10cm from her skin in all directions, making her completely invulnerable. This field seems to be a telekinetic reflex that repels anything her subconscious mind could possibly perceive as a threat, ie anything above a certain size or speed, or encircling her body.
The field will kick in reflexively, even if she is asleep or unconscious, to prevent anything solid from touching her skin. It is strong enough to deflect bullets, punches from superhumanly strong opponents, or heavy industrial equipment, and has registered as creating counterforces of the order of 100 tons under laboratory tests.
She can pick up and use stationary objects, such as food, mobile phones, keys and money. However, an attempt to catch a mobile phone thrown to her would cause her field to kick in and repel it. Size is not an issue - she can walk up to a parked car and touch it, but a moving vehicle would be blocked.
Liquids and gasses are unaffected by Una's field, although high pressure liquid streams will be repelled.
Through martial arts training, Una has learned how to extend her field to distances of up to 80 feet like a battering ram, and even extend it as a protective shell around others nearby.
Una can use her force field against the ground to generate enough thrust to leap about 8 storeys high after a couple of bounces to build up sufficient momentum.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Una is incapable of turning her force field off. This severely limits her ability to lead a normal life.
The field will not repel stationary objects, but would prevent her from being crushed, by say a truck parked on top of her. It will not repel slow moving liquids, but protects her from ill effects such as acid burn or heat from molten metal.
Light and sound can penetrate her force field, so Una can be temporarily stunned by flashbang grenades. Similarly, toxic gas can effect her.
Una can be stunned by sufficient conventional force to knock her out for brief periods of time, but even unconscious, her body still generates a strong enough field to protect her from lethal force.
Equipment
Una's apartment in Talos Island is specially reinforced to survive any minor mishaps resulting from her powers.
Una wears a solid Impervium ring around her neck, and three chunky Impervium bangles around each wrist, each machined into a perfectly symmetrical cirlce. These are purely cosmetic in purpose, and were placed on her body by teleportation.
She also has an Impervium belt, and a reinforced cage in which to remove it, since it recoils violently from her body when she does so. The belt, and special pairs of nigh-indestructible briefs, are donned for public outings using a teleportation device built onto a laser scanned body cast. The briefs are custom made commissions from a NASA laboratory, made from kevlar and an advanced carbon fibre Space Shuttle spin-off material, and last for about 3 hours of wear before being shredded by her field. The material is expensive, with each pair costing roughly $2000, hence Una tends to use her time in public wisely for maximum return. Her belt contains small compartments for items like her keys, credit card and mobile phone.
