Equipment
Compound Bow
The closest thing to an indulgence Twyla Adams ever allowed herself, the Kingswoman's second and longest-used bow was an expertly crafted compound bow that set her back quite a bit. Based on a design by Osaka's McAlliTech, the bow was actually a gift from the second Fairy Wren, who adventured beside the Kingswoman once when he tracked the head of a network of data thieves to Paragon City in 1984. However, the ever self-reliant (and prideful) Adams insisted on sending payment in full to the company as soon as she had saved up the funds.
Taser Gloves
During the first criminal scheme Twyla disrupted, she found these in a warehouse loaded with weapons stolen from a Steel Canyon company that was developing advanced non-lethal weaponry for the P.P.D. Not only could the outer surface of the gloves charge up for electrically-enhanced stunning punches, but taser darts launched from behind the knuckles would prevent the escape of more spineless bad guys who were intimidated into flight.
Abilities
Hand-to-Hand Combat
Twyla Adams was a fairly skilled fighter. Lacking the resources to travel the world and study with a dozen hidden masters like so many other masked avengers, she picked up most of the basics from self-defense classes at local community centers and gyms, and honed those simple skills through her vigilant and reckless pursuit of the Row's criminals.
Stealth
Adroit at blending with her environment, the Kingswoman was notorious for disappearing into the shadows of the Row and reappearing where her prey least expected her. Having spent her life in Kings Row, few could match her uncanny knowledge of the lay of the city, its darkest alleyways and highest rooftops. She could get anywhere in the Row unseen in moments by use of the grapple equipment in her belt.

((Player Notes))
- The Kingswoman was a name I came up with for a character in the Androgyne's background. I was playing around in the costume creator one day and hit upon a costume that was similar to what I had pictured for Kingswoman, so after verifying (much to my surprise) that the name was available, I decided to give an arch/elec blaster a whirl. Liked it, not enough to keep it, though.
- When the Rikti returned in I10, I rerolled her, deciding to put just a few levels into her ghost as something to hop onto when I noticed a Kings Row invasion in progress. I went with sonic/energy because it was easiest for me to conceptualize for a ghost and found it was a great opportunity to explore some simple blapping.
- I play the Kingswoman only once in a while, and with a couple simple rules -- nothing but street sweeping in Kings Row, and when she's defeated and out of Awakens, log off -- her spirit has been banished for a while and she'll need time to "recompose". She is fun in those short bursts of Defiance-fueled blappery, though.
- ...it occurs to me that I've killed more archers for background purposes (Kingswoman and the first two Fairy Wrens) than I've ever played...
