   Her family history was stepped in aviation. Love of the skies pump through her, her parents, and their parents veins like liquid gold. As a child, Virginia spent more time in the air than on the ground and loved every second of it. Growing up, she buried herself in books about the Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, and myths like Icarus. And when she was old enough, she followed her family tradition and earned her pilots license.

   Everything was perfect in her life, as she soared through the clouds, everything was perfect before her plane stalled that is. The engine in front of her sputtered and stopped, as the plane started falling from the sky. With no options left, she grabbed the parachute and bailed. Unfortunatly her luck ran out, while bailing the tail fin of the plane ripped her parachute pack, rendering it useless as she plummeted to the ground. As she fell, her life flashed before her eyes as the world faded around her, and then something snapped. The winds whipped around her as her ingrained mutation manifested, and not a moment too soon as the ground closed in. The winds saved her, forming a funnel underneath her and lifting her into the air, saving her life.

   Over time she grasped the full reach of her mutation. Realizing that in addition to flying, she had control over the weather itself. Winds, rain, lightning, snow all at her finger tips. She was finally free to sail the skies, the culmination of her families' history of flight boiled down into one individual. There, she decided she would use her powers to help others. To be a real hero. A child of the sky.
