If you're seeing it okay, then it's gotta be the browser. The one I'm using at my present location is IE7, which is obviously behind the times. I'll have to take a look when I get home with my somewhat BETTER browser, which will likely show me all is well. (I don't get the rounded corners on this browser, for example, while I do get them at home.)
