Current Status
Jack has returned from the Longbow assignment, and while not sharing much about the mission its self, Jack has gone out his way to spend as much time with Heather ( Lady Bombardier) as he can.
Also Jack as trained hard over the passed few weeks, with the return of continuous Rikti attacks, Jack knows better then anyone how dangerous they are.
Character History
Pre United Sentinals of America - First Rikti Invasion
Jack was a member of Longbow and had served for over 10 years, rising through the ranks, he had finally earned the rank of Commander, and was one of the people in charge of the Atlas Park Longbow Division. His path to becomming a hero started during the first Rikti Invasion, when Jack was a Longbow Raver. Defending Atlas Park from attack Jack's unit was hit hard, and Jack himself criticaly injured.
Pre USoA - A Time to Heal
Jack spent the better part of two years in hospital, wheelchair bound as he recovered from the major injuries he sustained in the Invasion. Even though his only way to move around was the wheelchair, Jack continued to train his upperbody. It was this time that Jack's mutant powers finally blossomed into what they are today, with the intense pyhsical training, his inherited super strength finally became part of him. Returning to active duty in Longbow and Freedom Corp, Jack became a Longbow Raver and used his powers in favour of the Longbow Weapons.
Pre USoA - Return of the Rikti, The Birth of a Hero
After he returned Jack had risen through the ranks of longbow and became a Commander, commanding a many longbow and had earned the respect of his fellow troops and piers. Unfortunatly his painfull expierence with the Rikti wasnt over, and during the second Invasion, His wife and youngest daughter was killed, when a Rikti Bomb had destroyed Jack's home in Steel Canyon. The loss of his family to great, Jack decided it was time for a change, with a honourable discharge and put on detached duty from Longbow, Jack trained over the next few months, His Son Ricky, who was at University kept in contact with his father and watched Jack transform from Longbow to Super Hero, Using the resources and contacts from Longbow and Freedom Corps. Jack became Victory One, using his Longbow call sign as his super hero name.
United Sentinels of America
After a short time as Victory One, Jack knew he needed to become part of a bigger cause if he wanted to make a real difference. He came across Liberty Vanguard of the USoA in Atlas Park, and after talking briefly of what Victory wanted to achieve, a interview was set up with Sol Imperium and not long after Jack became part of what would become a family.
Once More Unto The Breach
Having joined the Sentinels, it wasnt long before he found himself back in action, during the interview, he came across another new recruit, Lady Bombardier, and not long after Pearl Sword, with all 3 of them near the same Security Level, the worked together numerous times, and became good friends, However, His feelings for Heather deepened when she was capture by the Villains of Paragon City, Jack, Pearl Sword, and a number of other heroes, went into the enemy strong hold and rescued her, but was to late as Arbiter Death had tortured her, cutting of her arm. With the rage of emotion of a friend he became close to, Victory and the others rescued her, and both he and Pearl Sword raced her to the hosptial where she could get proper care. Jack stayed with her to make sure she was safe and was with her untill she came back round, unfortunatly even a hosptial wasnt safe and with another confrontation Victroy managed to get Heather to saftey back at H.O.M.E while Sol and the other sentinels held of the Villians. Over the next weeks, frequent confrontations with the Villians helped Victory to become stronger and while a low security level, a price to pay for starting a new hero career, he wasnt certainly a match for many of the Death's croonies. His true feelings for Lady Bombardier came when a Villain turned hero, Pyrotechicailty was in trouble and while Heather raced to help, Victory confronted Open Arsenal who had injuried her, and was the one who had shot Heather back when she was captured. Defeating him but injured in the process Jack realised his true feelings for the young women he had become close to.
