Character History
Virginia originally comes from an alternate universe, previously unknown by Portal Corporation. In Virginia's world, combustion stopped working. All forms of fire failed, including internal combustion engines and gunpowder. Electricity still worked and the world quickly adapted to solar, wind and hydro power. A cheap and effective steam engine was developed, run by electricity but in turn, producing more electricity. America had become a facist state and Virginia was one of the leaders of the New American Revolution. After winning the Revolution, Virginia was on the verge of being elected the new President, when she was pulled through a vortex into another world.
Virginia believes she accomplished her destiny in her homeworld and it was up to others to further the cause of Freedom. She believes her destiny now lies in exploring alternate realities. She recently found herself in the "City of" universe and has made a home here... for now.
