Synopsis
Born and raised in Russia, Warpony acquired her powers and abilities from a variety of experiments, accidents, and training. She excels in short-range combat wielding twin katanas as lethal weapons, and an enhanced pain threshold and limited regeneration capabilities increase her survivability. Warpony feels more comfortable acting as a hero than participating in civilian affairs, but she is very self-conscious about her physical appearance. In her mind, other people only see her in two ways: as an 8-foot “My Little Pony” or an otaku’s anthropomorphic fetish dream come true.
Appearance
Warpony tends to stand out in a crowd on several accounts. First, her height measures up to 8’1”, so she towers head and shoulders above average humanoids. Secondly, she bears many animalistic traits: spiraling horns, oversized ears, a lion’s tail, and sturdy horse hooves for feet. Finally, she has a very distinct coloring difference – Warpony has magenta colored skin complimented with dark, purple hair.
Between the height, the hooves, and the tail, Warpony has a very difficult time finding clothing that will fit her figure. However, the hard-working tailors at ICON are continually working with her to solve the problem.
Personality
Warpony has a strong will and an even stronger determination. When she sets her mind on a task, she puts all her effort and resources behind achieving her goal. She often recognizes when it's more efficient to be patient and cunning, but she's very willing to dive into a difficult situation head-first if other options aren't at her disposal.
Despite her self-assurance on the job, Warpony still has doubts about her worth as a hero and as a person. She is also fairly self-conscious about her appearance, which has changed dramatically in numerous ways since her childhood. For these reasons, she often withdraws herself from other people socially.

Warpony is a recent recruit into the Angry Angels. She originally joined on a whim to increase her exposure to hero activity, and she hasn't yet made many close friends within. But Warpony is slowly trying to bring her hero life and her social life closer together, and she believes the Angels will help her learn to grow and accept herself as she is.
Warpony has no other professional or personal ties. Her only former partner, Solomia, is presumed dead.
History
Military Abduction
At the age of 9, Lilia Tchaikovsky began to show signs of genetic mutations in her physical appearance. Within a year, her hooves and tail had formed and her horns were growing. As such, she was identified by a Russian agency and nominated for induction into the Academic College for Mutant Education. But after entering, Lilia discovered the awful truth: the A.C.M.E. program was a cover for a secret training facility for black ops mutant soldiers, and Lilia was forced to comply with the rigorous conditioning and hostile agenda.
As part of the program, she received an injection of hormonal accelerators perfected by Russian scientists. These accelerators boosted Lilia’s growth rate to exceptional levels, resulting in her considerable height. As an unexpected side effect, the accelerators also strengthened her leg muscles, allowing her to jump to incredible heights.
Eventually, the A.C.M.E. program was uncovered by U.S. intelligence, and a team of U.S. heroes infiltrated the camp to stop it, releasing Lilia and the other unwilling participants in the process. While Lilia endured tough times and irreversible alterations through A.C.M.E., she did make one friend: Solomia Petrenko.
Sword Training
Arrangements were made to bring the A.C.M.E. captives into the U.S., and Lilia was placed in a foster home. However, like many of the released captives, she had difficulty transitioning back into a life of normalcy. Her outlandish appearance made it difficult to fit in, and her years of physical conditioning made her restless for more significance to her life. Eventually, she decided upon the idea of becoming a hero like the ones that released her from captivity.
Pleading her case to a friendly Longbow agent named Gally Ido, she was introduced to a Japanese sword instructor known as Hitori Ishii. Under his tutelage, she spent years training both her sword arms and her mind. Finally, after six long years, Ishii declared her ready to face the world. He presented her with two blades specially crafted to balance her height and reach, and he suggested she create a heroic identity for which she would be known. Embracing the uniqueness of her appearance into her new identity, the name Warpony was born.
Magical Accident
Warpony was soon reunited with Solomia, who had followed her heart to become a Defender-class hero specializing in creating force fields. The two became partners and began putting their skills to the test against Hellions, Skulls, and Vahzilok. Eventually, one police detective requested their assistance in retrieving the stolen Blood Ruby from the Circle of Thorns. Warpony managed to procure the ruby, but a Life Mage discovered them before they could make their escape. Before he could be dispatched, he sacrificed himself in a ritual of deadly arcane power that flooded the room.
Solomia, who could not yet master her powers to shield herself, was severely injured by the blast. Her emergency teleporter activated, but she was never seen at the hospital. She is presumed dead.
Warpony was also affected by the blast and knocked unconscious, despite Solomia’s force field. When she awoke in the hospital, she discovered she now had magenta colored skin and purple hair.
Experts from M.A.G.I. speculated that the powers of the Blood Ruby may have been responsible for weakening Solomia’s shield and causing the arcane energy to fuse inside Warpony’s body. Additional testing concluded the magic energy brought other side effects as well: limited powers of regeneration as well as a high threshold for physical pain. Whatever had happened in the blast, it had made her stronger.
