Personality
Casey is a cross between and old school Texas Ranger and the Film Noir detective. He is serious about his work and finding a way home, but flexible enough to work on planet Earth. He has a love of “classic” tv cop shows and Warner Brothers cartoons and sometimes displays them on the polymer projectors on the outer hull of his armor.
Powers and Origin
Part of a motley grew stranded on Earth in a starship crash, Casey seeks a way home. A former Free Worlds Ranger, Casey is an experenced, if jaded, law officer with a history of drink and a colorful record. When asked how he came to be named Casey and why his biology is so simular to hman he simply replies "Din't ye know? The Irish conquered stars ceenturies ago."
From a heavy grav world, Casey is slightly faster and stronger then a normal human. Cybernetic enhancements and his artifical heart allow him to heal quickly and process data faster then normal.
The armor he wears is rumored to be the long lost "White Bishop" armor. Galactic legend tell of the Ancient's Chessman Fleet and the control armors that allowed a single being to control entire squadrons of ships. The armor is capable of high speed flight, stealth and has been oberved controling computer systems. Weapons appear to be plasma and particale based beams causing heat and kinetic damage
Flight and Stealth
The armor allows the wearer to fly at high speeds. Information gathered from aliens currently on planet indicates the armor should be capable of interplanetary speeds in normal space and hyper-light jumps. While fast, this kind of speed has not been demonstrated by White Bishop
The Bishop armor has reactive outer shell that projects images of the space behind it, effectively reducing its visibility by 80%. This stealth mode applies to any electromagnetic emission. In addition the White Bishop armor can apply short term stealth fields to its allies.
The armor appears to be able to dimensionally phase as a defensive maneuver. When out of sync the armor is unable to affect or be affected by this reality
Offensive and Defensive Systems
Secondary offensive systems include strength enhancement and the ability to release the beam weapons as an explosive burst at the point of impact.
Defensive shields combined with the armor’s reactive shell allow White Bishop to engage several opponents or super powered beings up close. While he can survive most conventional weapons it is clear the armor is not invulnerable. Sudden impacts, energy strikes and magical attacks clearly bleed through to the operator, but hostile environments do not appear to be a factor.
Subsystems and Storage
White Bishop has shown the ability to interface with computer systems, monitor communications, translation language and store data in library computers. Self repair, user medical aid and limited manufacturing capabilities are also contained in the armor. White Bishop has been observed taking items off of criminals and inserting them into modules in his belt. When asked he replied “These? Why I reckon they’re fer inspiration.” Current theory is the armor breaks down these materials and turns them into usable items for Briggs.
The armor appears to contain a full array of tactical targeting and defensive computers. In addition zn impressive varity of tactical and scientific sensors appear to be at White Bishop’s disposal.
The armor is stored in Casey’s body. When needed unidentified ooze covers Casey from head to toe and solidifies into the armor.
Casey Briggs
Medically Casey reads 100% human, with several odd exceptions. His muscle and bone is slightly denser then normal, he claims Innisfree has about 20% more gravity then Earth making him slightly stronger then an average human, able to lift nearly 1000 pounds.
He has several cybernetic implants including an artificial heart. His artificial heart gives him slightly greater stamina then a normal human
It is unclear what the other cybernetics in his system do, but he claims to have a complete backup of his life available for his clone body should he die.
Casey has been known to carry a small "needler" gun when not armored up and appears to have limited access to the armor's capabilities even when it is in storage.
