Personality
Mecurial sums her up. The moods can swing like a from laughing to deathly serious in an instant. When she is 'on the clock' though she is serious and determined to succeed for the most part, though she does tend to 'lapse' at times. She is a lesbian but tends to come on so strongly that it is hard to take her advances seriously. She does tend to act beyond her years at times, counselling younger superbeings on the finer points of villainy/heroism though she tends to be very heavy handed in this. Recently, she has reevaluated her life as a villain due to various adventures and now is trying to walk a more law abiding path with mixed results.
Abilities
She wields various swords at which she is very proficient with. Also her speed and quickness is amazing. Her powers extend to leaping great distances plus the use of some abilities from her time as a disciple of Ghost Widow. She also has other skills and abilities including disguise, infiltration, seduction and basic martial arts. The oddest thing is her ability to shift into a weretigress.In that form she has enhanced hearing and sense of smell as well as above normal strength. Her human form used to have a mystical sense but it was lost recently.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Her sense of smell and hearing have gotten her into trouble. Overloading them. Also she tends to get in over her head easily and not think things out.
Equipment
She used to carry an infiltration kit that includes, rope, tape, splices, burgulary tools and other things. Also she occasionally wears a set of golden chains that have a mystical hue. The chains are unbreakable, forges from the chains that held Prometheous to the boulder, alledgedly.
Character History
'Official history'
Most of the records on Melinda Castillo were lost during the Ritki invasion. What little was known was that she was being held for child services at 17 in connection with the death of the man that had raised her. A man that police suspected had kidnapped her and killed her family when she was 8. After the invasion she was put through a crash course in proper procedures for being a hero in Miami, and assigned a license. Her career was spotty, and she lived up to her name, both in battle and in her after-hours appetite for partying and insane stunts.
When she was given a partner, a empathic 'defender' by the name of Crystal Storms, she seemed to settle down some, though it also diminished her effectiveness until they began to receive funds for upgrades through doing a layout for a fetish magazine. This began what is referred to as the Miami Commission scandal or as some call it, the 'Bondage heroine' scandal.
For her, the aftermath was a trip to the mental ward in The Ziggaurt of Brickstown, Paragon City.her breakout was attributed to Arachnos though rumors indicate that The Negotiator General was the main reason for it.

Little is known of this lithe and mysterious woman. She is sometimes encountered in the Pocket D, sometimes tending bar, working at or going to the various clubs, or just cruising the streets to see what there is to see.. and what trouble she can get into.
