A gift
Zeek'Akar is one of the first generation Nightmares, the first generation refers to the first succesful generation after the second genocide. He is also one of the best balanced between the Night Mother's demon blood and Vadim's Nightmare blood.Thus, he was chosen as a gift from Xolotl to Matron Ambrielle of house Vrinn, the reason being that she largely helped in getting the Night Mother back to his grasp.
Zeek'Akar acts as a bodyguard of Ambrielle, but for the most part just stands around smokeing until he is called upon to answer questions, pick up things or to actually defend.
