Brief Bio
Zinedine Auclair was born a child genius as natural as every genius born before him, the one in a hundred million chances had come through in Zinedine Auclair. Born in Marseille, France, He was the first child protigy to be born in the city. His parents were young only around thirty or so however they were both loving and adoring. The only problem in their seemingly perfect family was that both his parents were unknown to Zine, professional cat burgulars. In no way did they have super powers, they were just an incredable team. His mother and father were ex-professional gymnasts who could break into any bank or house, steal what they wanted and get out again before anyone noticed anything was gone.
Due to this they were ridiculously wealthy, mainly due to auction events and selling to private collections. Of course their own was extensive, though they mainly focused on classical greek works. Zinedine's parents had paid for private education before he was born, at Saint Louis Academy right through to senior year.
Z's genius was discovered at age six where in first grade by the middle of the year he had already moved on to freshman year math and junior year english. He could converse at the level of a fifteen year old and was taking reading lesons from the curator of the Museum of Paris. At St Louis though he was not the only genius, there were several others and almost all of the students were products of extremely wealthy parents.
School continued this way until Z was twelve, he had numerous friends, was apart of several clubs including swimming, waterpolo and senior law. Although most of his friends were standard in inteligence they were by no means intimitated by him. All of them having thier own specal gifts, one of them Zine suspected of super powered but wasn't about to ask him. During this year though Zine became close with the family man servant Yuri Stoyanovich, who started teaching him Japanese, Russian and Latin. Also his parents had started performing more and more risky missions. So risky in fact that they were nearly caught, only escaping because Zindine had followed them and taken out the police as they escorted Mr and Mrs Auclair to the police cars.
The following year tradegy struck the Auclair family, Mr and Mrs Auclair were caught again, this time robbing the louvre and Z was nowhere to be found having been taken into hiding by Yuri under instruction from Z's parents. As per French law anyone caught robbing the Louvre was to be immediatly executed, this order was followed out on Zine's parents. Yuri recieved the news first via a recorded message that played on his cell phone directly linked to the life signs of the family. The message detailed what was to happen to Zine and the mansion. It all immediatly passed into Yuri's care until Z turned eighteen which wasnt for another 5 years. Also it gave permission for Yuri to give Zine access to his parents private library and detailed accounts of all their robberies.
Over Zinedine's thirteenth year he learned many things, incluing the existance of all things super natural, magical, mutant and scientific. Going on this infomation he started robbing places of high magical importance often successfull other times not so, however he was never caught or severly injured. This year of villeny was accompanied by huge success at high school and university, he graduated from Cambridge, England with degrees in Latin, Japanese, Ancient History and Human movement. To celebrate his fourteenth birthday Yuri hired out the Place d' l'Opera and held a massive party, where Zine recieved his first car. However Zine soon grew weary of the spot light and soon retreated more and more often to his private library become obsessed with a particular mask, from the Torreador Vampire Clan.
It was during the weeks that followed that Zinedine began to ignore the calls from the press, the interviews even the pleas from Yuri to rest. Zinedine had commited himself to finding the mask, so much so he soon stopped sleeping altogether. At most he would only sleep for 3 hours every week or so. This enourmous strain on his mind, body and soul was taking its toll, he almost permanatly had a migraine and his very aura seemed to darken the mood around. Soon without concious though Zinedine was mindlessly reading book after book never stoping except when his eyelids lost their own strength and ceased to stay open. It was moments before his eyelids closed themselves on a particularly foul day that Zinedine performed his first telekinetic lift. Without reaching for the books on the wall, he simply let his thoughts travel to them, and they came to him. The book floated off the wall and onto his desk. He immediatly passed out, his first true sleep for weeks. Yuri saw his chance and picke up Z's small limp body and took him to his bed. Zinedine slept for 3 days without waking up, Yuri had stood watch the whole time and soon noticed the dark aura leave him. Zine woke up on the fourth day, it was a tentative moment, when butler and master saw eachother more as brothers but it quickly left as Yuri presented Zine with breakfast and more books to trawl through. From this day forward Zinedine worked relentlessly on his psionic abilities while researching just as determind as before. Soon he had learned to put himself and other into hypnosis and dominate thier minds to cause crippeling headaches.
After months of researching the mask and working on his psionic abilites, Zine had derived enough infomation for him to finally go after it. He had learned that it made the wearer resistant to psychic assault, which was one of Zinedine's biggest fears, someone attacking his mind. Also he had learned it was bright pink in colour which was freqently documented amongst his sources. Finally although the location was vague, Zine had narrowed it down to somewhere in the Rogue Islands. After learning the location he immediatly set off for the USA.

Personality
Zinedine developed an arrogant persona at a very young age, he knew he was smart and wealthy and often used it too his advantage. He frequently looks down on others no matter how wealthy they appear or how remarkable they seem. Zinedine respects power and experience both of which he feels he lacks. Zinedine is in truth scared and lonely, scared of his own powers and possibilies but at the same time exited. He is scared he will inadvertantly hurt someone he loves or someone will use his powers against him. His loneliness is derived from the death of his parents, ever since that event the only person to talk to him was Yuri. Yuri however large and caring as he was, was no conversation mistro and Zinedine often found him boring. This loneliness has manifested itself in Zine as him looking for a Father figure to replace his lost one.
Powers
Mind Control
The increased brain activity in Zinedine has combined with the phychic part of the frontal lobe together it makes for a powerful natural mind control. Zinedine can enter an enemies minds, control their thoughts and induce crippling pain. At stronger levels Zine can do this on large scales, taking control of multiple people at once and forcing them to attack one another.
Along with Mind control Zine can send his own thoughts into an opponant, causing them to lose the willpower to fight on and thus making Zinedine's job significantly easier. The final and most powerfull of Zinedine's mental arsenal is to create fear en mass. By projection horrifying images into the minds of many people at once Zinedine can create large scale terror. This terror when combined with large scale mind control proves to be a potent combination and is ussually all Zine needs to finish of his enemies.
Psychic Assault
The Psychic part of Zinedine brain is directly located in Zine's lower cortex and is linked to his genius level intellect. His Psychic ability allows him to accuratly predict an opponesnts next move, communicate telepathicly with allies but most importantly allows him to fire off bursts of psionic energy like darts or more powerfull versions like lances. Zinedine's Psionic powers are also the cause of his telekinesis being able to lift objects, people and even groups of enemies.
More recently though Zinedine has discovered the rather effective ability to release tremendous amounts of psychic energy all around him. This raw energy does significant damage to nearby foes and has a chance to deliver crippeling brain trauma.
Soul Mastery
Within the last couple days Zinedine has recently begun to hear voices in his head, while not talking to him directly the voices seem to be talking to themselves. Analysing decisions for better or worse, good or evil, Zinedine has deduced they are the souls of the living and the dead. Using this he has begun to draw upon their specral energies to form a thin layer of armour around himself, protecting him from some damage in combat. Also he has been able to litterly drain the energy from the souls of his foes, causing them to lose consiousness and boost his own souls power.
Along with this ability Zine recently bought the services of a Fortunata to predict the furture for him and help him analyse his past. Thier relationship so far is strained at best, her alliance to Arachnos worries him but her services are unique and something he currently requires.
Displays of Power
- Eyes will glow purple.
