Background

Dylan Itsuhara was born to a Japanese father, and an American mother in Yokohama, Japan. Blind since birth, Dylan eventually fled Yokohama for Praetoria's Neutropolis to escape the ravages of the Devouring Earth. Gifted with mutant superspeed and incredibly heightened senses, he joined Cole's PPD, his swordsmanship put to good use. His skill and daring attracted attention from his superiors, and he gained in fame and influence. Eventually, he was even able to replace his eyes with cutting-edge cybernetics, increasing his abilities even further.

However, as Cole's regime began to crumble, Itsuhara had no interest in going down with it. He defected to Primal Earth, and tracked down his counterpart. After a vicious battle, the ex-Olympian Guard slew him, and assumed his identity. Now, he works for himself, doing whatever will get him the money and status he once enjoyed.

Recently, Blurred Edge joined the Villains of Paragon City, a terrorist group lead by Arbiter Death. For now, he feels Starkweather is on his way to real power, and Edge has no problem coming along for the ride.

Personality

Itsuhara has two faces. He comes across as very confident (even cocky), outgoing, and friendly. He knows how to schmooze, and make people feel at ease around him. However, he's a cold-blooded opportunist. He wants fame, power, and influence, and will think nothing of hurting or manipulating whoever he has to in order to get it.

In combat, Edge is fast, vicious, and merciless. He has no compunction about fighting 'dirty', and will often strike with lightning speed from a cloaked state, giving his enemy no chance to react.
