Summary
We're back, and this time not for Recluse... Starting off as a clandestine group, which served Arachnos during its early years; acting as a sleeper cell in Paragon territory, was disbanded and dispersed by many brave, virtuous heroes and heroines of the city. Now, the Villains of Paragon City are back, this time John Starkweather will use his growing army of villains and militant operatives to capture Paragon City for himself. Unlike most gangs and villain groups in Paragon, Starkweather keeps his numbers secluded and disperses his newly acquired paramilitary units into various cells within Paragon or surrounding areas as a fail-safe.
History
Arbiter John “Death” Starkweather created the Villains of Paragon City (VoPC) as a codename for an infiltration project assigned directly from Lord Recluse. At first, the organization functioned as an Arachnos support team for Arbiter Sands and his own cell in Faultline; but, after showing outstanding results in defense and offense, Recluse allowed Death to act as his own independent faction. The VoPC fell years after it’s creation by heroes and heroines backed up with Longbow reinforcements; thus scattering the members into diverse regions within Paragon and beyond. Death, expelled and de-ranked, fled back into the Rogue Isles; and attempting to enter Recluse’s good graces, formed the Shadow Spiders. Some time afterward, Starkweather stepped down from his position as commander of the Shadow Spiders and resigned from Arachnos, heading back into Paragon City with his wife and a majority of his children to live a normal life. Unfortunately, fate had other plans for him…
After convinced and thrilled by images of power and prestige from an old follower, John reformed and rebuilt the VoPC into its former glory, but not for Recluse—never again for Recluse, but himself.
Recruitment
The VoPC isn’t picky on recruiting; we usually take any sort of genres in RP, even Arachnos double agents. We do ask, however, if you plan to infiltrate the group, your character will require OOC approval by Arbiter Death and not any other member.
Alts are carefully watched and maintained by Officers of the SG, we only allow /one/ alt for each level 50, although, there may be some exceptions. Additionally, inactivity up to 30 days will result in a boot from the S/VG, unless given a good reason not to.
Even though the VoPC are villains, mercenaries, etc; we don’t tolerate in-fighting. Verbal assault is controlled, but manageable to a point. Extension in disobedience will result in an IC punishment.
