Likes: Burning things. Burning more things. Anything to do with fire.
Dislikes: Chemicals that put out fire. People that complain about their house getting burnt down because she rescued their cat from up in a tree.

Background

<< work in progress>>
(( Please note, the information can be found by having a contact in the public records office of Paragon City, which does not make this information very secret.))

Keri Kindle was born in Paragon City. Her mother left her at the hospital without any contact information. With the DNA samples from her mother’s trial, the computer system discovered that Keri’s mother was, Joan D. Hart, was convicted murderer and was killed while trying to escape prison. Her father, James T. Jones, was also in the system as a convicted racketeer, working for the Skulls and was murdered during a gang war. On her birth certificate, she is named Keri Doe. When she was always seen with some electronic reading device, her name was changed to Keri Kindle.

Due to all this modern technology, it was written on her record that she was the daughter of two criminals. This made it impossible for Keri to ever get adopted. There was always another child with less troubles to adopt before her.

Early Life

<< work in progress>>
Keri Doe was bounced around the system for most of her life. She developed her mutant powers very early in life and often was in trouble when she burned things down. As she entered her teenage years, her super strength came into full power. She didn’t like bullies and let them know. Several young boys had their bones broken as they would confront Keri and not expecting her strength.

At the age of 15, she was a very beautiful young woman. She had the unfortunate placing of a foster care parent that found her to his pleasing. His body was found in the basement of the burnt down home. The authorities did not believe her story of being attacked by the upstanding man. It is uncertain, but it is thought that she did not have a pleasant time in juvenile prison. Since there wasn't any real proof as to what happened, she could not be tried for murder and was released upon her 18th birthday.

School

<< work in progress>>
This child that never said very much and, worse, when she did, it came out as something very different than English. This made several teachers believe she was slow and had special educational needs.

Recent Background

<< work in progress>>

Beginning of July 2012, Keri started to develop her powers even more. She was known to be working with some powerful super heroes and vigilantes to help her develop her powers. By the end of July, she had gained access to the Well of Furies. Her powers were soon to grow far more.

Character Powers

Keri is an extreme reader. She reads as often as she can and she can read very fast. She retains the information read with her photographic memory. Exactly how much information she has read is completely unknown. Her ability to express her knowledge is greatly depressed. She does not like to appear to be intelligent and will test poorly. If there is a manual for a device she wants to use, she has read the manual and found more. She understands how to use computers and appears to have some amazing hacking skills. Since she never tells anyone her skills, most people, who have met her, do not know this information.

How Keri Kindle is Played

(( Section stolen from Femme Fencer. Thanks. ))

Roleplay (RP): This character is played with strict role-play discipline. Messages done in emote or in not bracketed chat are coming from Keri. Messages done with out of character brackets ((OOC)) are coming from me, the player portraying Keri, usually to prevent misunderstandings or for matters of efficiency. I do this to maintain the suspension of disbelief for you and the others around me. Mistakes happen and sometimes we forget these little rules, but I try to follow them as much as possible when playing Keri.

Mature Roleplay (MRP): Think of Keri as a character in a film with at least a PG-13 rating and, in some cases, an R rating. She does some interesting things in the game, like burning down office buildings, fighting heroes, and having sexual encounters. Keri loves to burn things and does not mine being in the main spot light. Even more than that, she loves read. If you a book that she has not read, she will ask to borrow that book.

Erotic Roleplay (ERP): I don't play this game to ERP. That said, Keri has a life in the bedroom, just like any other adult. Bedroom scenes aren't off limits, but they have to happen naturally and in character. If your character feels like kissing her, kiss her. If your character feels like touching her, touch her. Depending on the context, one act might lead to another, and you might end up playing out a bedroom scene if she really likes you and wants to take it there. Just keep in mind that she has emotions, needs, standards, and all the other things any woman feels before letting herself go. But here are a few rules. If you feel you have to know more about the player who plays Keri before doing it, do it with another character. If you feel you have to know more about the player who plays Keri after doing it, you'll get put on /ignore. I don't do OOC fantasies. I don't want to know if you get off on ERP. I look at it as a literary exercise and a character study, like writing a bedroom scene for a soap opera or a romance novel.

Text Fight Roleplay: This character will text fight with you, using chat descriptions to indicate attacks and counters. When text fighting, I take the following factors into account to determine responses (from least important to most important):
-Realism (it's important for the suspension of disbelief, but we've all got superpowers, so we can have a lot of tolerance here)
-Powers (what your character has to throw or defend (In game and character powers ))
-Levels (how experienced or powerful the characters are)
-Descriptive Flair (how artistic is the attack)
-Drama (the fight has to be interesting to the peanut gallery, which means it shouldn't end on the first few attacks)
-Fairness (you can't expect the same character or team to win each and every time the two square off)
-Numbers (being outnumbered three to one is an advantage that can't be ignored)
-Fun (the goal of text fight should be to give your opponents reasons to text fight in the future, not to disuade them from text fighting in the future)
