The Peacekeepers are a loose affiliation of metahumans who have time and again come together to deal with threats that no one group could handle alone. Though the group has been championed by many individuals, the most well known and dedicated of these was the hero Inertial, of the Defenders of Paragon. Under his leadership, the Peacekeepers saw an unsurpassed membership and activity. Throughout the years, the Peacekeepers have fought off numerous villain threats and large scale attacks to both Paragon and the world.

The Mission
We the Peacekeepers dedicate ourselves to the defense of the free world. It is our mission to not only be the final line of defense against superhuman threats, but to seek out and deter threats before they have the chance to harm innocent life. We seek peace through strength of arms. For those who want peace, perpare for war.

Operations
The Peacekeepers, while defenders of Paragon and the world as a whole, as most often seen in Siren's Call, which seems to be the dominant area of villain activity within the borders of Paragon City. It is here that these defenders of peace and freedom earned their reputation for being powerful, resourceful, unrelenting champions of the city.
The Peacekeepers also operate with regular frequency in Warburg and Recluse's Victory, with a lesser presence helping Longbow defend their stronghold in Bloody Bay.
Affiliations
The Peacekeepers is an affliation without boarders. It welcomes any hero who is brave enough to fight a losing fight and turn its tide. Memebership within the Peacekeepers is avaliable to any hero that wants it. The global channel "The Peacekeepers" is used as an emergency channel for announcements of PvP activity, Giant Monsters, Ambush clean ups, and other large scale events.

The Peacekeeper Initiative
The Peacekeeper Initiative is a supergroup formed by members of The Peacekeepers in order to make a home for RPers who wished to PvP more. The group itself is a body of the United Nations, who believed that there needed to be a superhuman body of guardians to patrol the globe for threats against humanity that it was previously unable to content with, rather than depending on other superhero organizatins.
The two groups are closely aligned, but membership within the Supergroup is not manditory for membership with the Peacekeeper coalition.
