Send Me An Angel

Of Angels

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?'

God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'

The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.'

God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'

Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?'

God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'

'Who will protect me?'

God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'

'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.'

God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'

God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'

Of Earth

Most children forget.

They forget what Heaven is like. They forget the Holy One. They live their lives, none the wiser to the realm beyond. But sometimes, one remembers...

Donna Josephine Anglelica Peters was one such child. She, however, did not get to choose her family, nor the circumstances surrounding her birth. She did not get to choose her father. She did not get to choose her mother. In fact, Donna Jo would never know her mother, Josephine Peters.

Josie Peters

Josephine Alora Peters grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a beautiful girl and quite intelligent. At the young age of 16, however, Josie fell under the unfortunate spell of Lukkas d'Sintiel. Lukkas, however, was worse than a toxic poison. He was an Incubus--a demon who devoured the souls of the weak. Josie was not weak. What Lukkas could not have by sheer will, he would have by sheer force. Without a willing soul to claim, he left her with another soul for which to care...

Rosalynne duPois

Miss duPois was a confesed witch. As was her sister. And their mother. And their grandmother...and so on back. In fact, Rosalynne could trace her family back to Salem, MA in the 1600's. The family had escaped prosecution and accusation and moved to Baton Rouge, LA during the trials. When Rosalynne found out her only daughter had been raped--and by a demon, no less--she took matters into her own, spiritual, hands. The first thing Rosalynne did was track down her daughter's assailant and disable him. And by disable, Rosalynne made sure his disability was permanent. And fatal. At least, she hoped.

The second thing Rosalynne did was "bless" Josephine's womb. The offspring that would be born from the unholy union would be special--would be a child that possessed a divinely loving nature, a celestial voice, and a heart of compassion. Clutching her tailisman in her hands, Rosalynne intoned to the powers that be her request and desire.

In order for the blessing to work, Josie had to give her life so that her child could live.

Right Now

Angelica stood at the gravesite. She was only 18. She'd gotten the call early in the morning the day of her dreaded College Algebra final. Rosalynne duPois had passed away. It was a close cousin who had called her--"You have to be the strong one, DJ. Please don't cry. Go about your day, like normal." She went numb. Her roommate frowned and went to their final early. She explained to the professor what had happened. When Angelica showed up fifteen minutes late, the professor gave her the opportunity to take the test another time.

She declined. "No, I'm the strong one...Besides, I'm not going to study any more than I already have..."

In fact, finals had only just begun. She had another week of school before the Christmas break began. Rosalynne Mary Elizabeth duPois-Peters was buried without her granddaughter's presence. And without the one thing they'd both wanted--Angelica's voice singing at the funeral.

A Star is Born

After graduating from college with a communications degree, Angelica set out for Paragon City, RI. She had to get away from her past--from the painful memories that haunted her. From the choices she was forced to make...and the regrettable consequences of most of them.

The Cape

In February of 2007, Angelica had the opportunity to meet DJ Shecky and Attercap of The Cape Radio. Both of the men found her to be truly angelic in her nature and voice and insisted she talk to DJ Templar about employment as a DJ. She sent in her application and Templar eagerly hired her. She held her first show at the Pocket D on May 16 and has been with The Cape ever since.

Angels Never Say Goodbye

"I thought Angels never learned to say good bye..." - Vinyl Sun, Angel

Signal Arrow

Juliana "Jules" Regan, one of the leaders of The Mighty Brigade, has recently become one of Angel's closest friends. The two women can usually be found chittering away about everything from the latest music from Europe to spirts in Croatoa to guys, girls, and the constant pursuit of unreachable happiness.

The Myme

Into each life, someone special must come. For a year, Angelica believed that someone special was Vincent. Their relationship was slow and steady--ever growing, ever changing. But, all good things must come to an end. The authorities came for him. The Myme, Hero of Paragon City, was mercilessly incarcerated. His crime? Fighting crime without a license. Some justice this world has...Though, because of his ties to the Tsoo, Angelica could not have him freed.

Artemis Tau

Faith & Belief is the story of Artemis Tau and Angelica. It's an on-going story. A summary of this story will eventually go here. (( There is a mission arc--or was, anyway--that contained the marriage of Ian Reynolds and Angelica Peters ))

The Dawn of War is the story of Angel's near-death and DJ Fallen Angel's demise. The Journey Home is the story of Angel's rebirth and Ian's death.

DJ Fallen Angel

This whiley succubus conjured at Angelica's 16th birthday is her aunt. But, Angelica is none the wiser. Demoryel, however, has plans to reveal the truth to her "innocent niece."
