DJ Shecky is known for his Thursday Underground and Tuesday Degeneration shows on The Cape. Known mostly as a permanent fixture in Pocket D he does get out once in a while.

Known as a Degenerate, DJ Shecky (or Shecky as he prefers) tends to be a self-depreciating goof ball. Almost always a smile on his face, not many get to see the other side of Shecky, the serious, responsible "hero".

Abilities
Having joined with the Kheldian named D'John, Shecky is still learning the extent of the abilities he has, but they all seem to be energy based. With 2 forms outside of his normal human appearance, He is able to strike from a distance, or close up, with blasts or brawling techniques.
Character History
Not much is known about Shecky's past, and he doesn't talk about it. He appeared in Paragon City about a year ago, when he started DJing for The Cape. It is assumed that this was not long after Mike Cohen merged with D'John, but it is not confirmed.
Shecky Pre-Meld
Shecky, before the meld, is somewhat of a mystery. Where he is originally from, is unknown, nor is it known if his attitude and personality has changed from his melding with D'John. The only records that can be found on him as Mike Cohen show that he attended University of Nebraska at Lincoln. All other records are missing.
Shecky Post-Meld
When he entered Paragon and got his hero license, he gave them the name Shecky. when asked why Shecky, he explained that sometime in his past he was given that as a nickname. The full thing was originally Shecky the missing eighth dwarf, but only the Shecky portion had stuck over the years.
He tacked the DJ portion on as soon as he was hired by The Cape.
DJ Shecky
Once hired by The Cape as a DJ, people started noticing a guy who was willing to listen to others, always a friendly person, and good guy. This despite his On Air joking and sometimes self-depreciating attitude. His Tuesday show Degeneration is known for this, but in August of 2006, he started a second show, the Thursday night Underground featuring all independant artists, most available for free legal download at garageband.com. His explanation for this show is that he had been in the indie scene and felt that these artists show get airtime. After all you never know who is going to be the next big thing. the other thing about Underground is Shecky tends to be more serious and straightforward on air during it.
In May 2007 he got married to SuperMum of the supergroup Angry Angels. Shecky's best friend, Attercap was be the best man.
SuperMum has not been seen in over a year and Shecky has been told she is presumed dead, which prompted him to be registered as a widower.
A what?????
Shecky is looked at as a Degenerate, wrapped in an engima, wrapped in a question, wrapped in bacon. What the future holds for him is as unknown as the past. Currently living in Faultline.
Still with all of this, the ladies seem to enjoy him, even his goosing hands, possibly cause of all the 151 he passes out.
