(Brief explanation, detailed intro soon)
Caught unaware by a storm created by divine powers, Demintia ventures out (risking her life) in order to prevent another from falling to a horrible fate as the storm approaches. Meanwhile back on earth the Circle of Thorns prepare a lengthy and dangerous summoning ritual. The ritual reaches it's climax at the same (precise) moment the storm slams into Demintia. The magical aura of the storm confuses the summoning ritual and "poof" goes Demintia to another world.

History

Division of the Mind

Spoiler warning: Details about a player-created storyline, or information currently unrevealed about a character, follow.

When Demintia was a child, she met a rather grisly death at the hand of her own older brother who had succumbed to jealousy over his active sister. Without conciously realizing it, the divine mantle the feral child was born with awakened as her physical body perished. Demintia's essence sank into a realm of darkness and emotion that buffers between their world of the living and that of the dead. The bottom of this darkened realm opened up into filed that glowed with the triple moons of Shalil and Demintia began to wander about this field lost and very confused. She would encounter a great beast within this field before she would finally be pulled back into her mortal shell by a grieving father and cunningly devious grandfather.

What seemed like weeks to Demintia, took place in only an hours time for the living. But within days it was clear that Demintia was something 'more' than a mere child. The grandfather convinced the child's father to seal the divine power and both of their memories. Afterwords the father took the two children to stay with their mother in Norsalith.

Origins

Homeworld

Unerka is a mild temperate world which is divided into three main continents. Like Earth, a majority of Unerka is covered in water. Magical energies engulf the planet while god-like figures use the beings of Unerka as pawns in their own schemes. Technology is viewed as a toy, items to fiddle with, but nothing worthy of massive research and study. A race which resembles humans dominates this world, though they are also the most common type of slave found. Next, the gnomes who often live along side the humans. The two races get along remarkably well considering the differences between them.

Birth Place

Norsalith is one of hundreds of cities nestled in the vast ancient forest of Feykin. It is however the only 'known' city to outsiders due to the long withdraw the feral elves have experienced. Crafted from the living trees themselves, a vast web of platforms span out, up, and around the trees older than recorded time itself.
