Divine Maiden

Her name is Juliette Iris Valentine, nothing about the name seems to fit a heroine, however, Juliette never classified herself as one. She was a modest girl who lived surrounded by simplicity. All she has ever known was her mother and the garden left for her to attend. Her home in Dark Astoria is an eerie, religious establishment, hardly one suitable to call a domain. Shrouded by the darkness around her, Juliette was the beacon of light and purity. Always with a cheerful disposition, Juliette displays kindness and a jovial nature wherever she goes. A frown barely forms upon her pouty lips, even when one is rude to her.
Perhaps she is seen as naive to many, because of her nature to easily trust those around her and seek the good within. At the age of twenty one, she has never truly seen much of the city of Paragon until recent. The world has opened its doors to her, revealing a myriad of people with gifts much like her own, some even calling themselves heroes. She admired many from afar, watching them perform deeds within the city walls whilst she sold her fragile flora from her baskets. Often times they would approach and offer kind words - even encouragement to the maiden, leaving her desiring to prove something to herself.

Miss Valentine is the embodiment of innocence, a heart pure and untainted by the sin of man. Divinity was found within her person, a human who carried the remnants of a forgotten and beautiful race - The Faite. The Faite were perceived as angelic beings, in which many cases, they played the role of angels and just as archaic. In truth, they are the fount of life, wrapped in flesh. They can breathe life into a being and revive one that is near the edge. From their tears, the drink of life escapes them. Thus the vial of a Faites' essence is rare to find. When her emotions are heightened, her powers hit a point that they need a form of release, thus changing Juliette's appearance - something she has not learned to control as of yet. There are six wings at her back, much like a seraphim. Because of this, her attire suffers and becomes tattered ribbons. She is one of the very few Faite left, the bloodline is diminishing due to others being discovered and captured for experiments. Because of this, spirits of former Faite have been attempting to preserve what they can and aid the Faite when they are in harms way. Due to Juliette's sensitive nature, these spiritual beings make their presence known almost everytime she transforms.
Infatuated by these heroes of Paragon, this timid flower has befriended a few and even has gone on adventures. Her ability allows others to recuperate expeditiously when injured or feel energized and willing to endure more during battles. Unbeknown to Juliette was the sacrifice being made to insure the safety of others - her own life. This was the downfall of the Faite. Little by little, her life force is depleted from her frame. Though no one knows of this, one could see the lack of energy Juliette has after utilizing her gift constantly.
As of recent, she has been meeting many interesting people, especially when she became part of The Tomorrow Project. She joined after meeting Roka Thinora IV, who - even if he was a bit rough around the edges - warmed up to Juliette after spending time with her. She regarded him as her bodyguard, keeping the joyful Valentine safe from dangers and the leering eyes of other men. It is within this group that she met and became friends with the people there and became close with an Australian ninja and a man named Max, to name a few. As time carried on, Juliette eventually did fall in love with Roka, trusting him with her heart and safety. But Juliette began to question her role with the Project.
Unfortunately, Juliette's time with them slowly came to an end and soon did her relationship with Roka after realizing how distant the two have become. Juliette packed her things up and returned home, shielding herself in the blanket of comfort found in the garden. Though her heart sunk, Juliette took this opportunity to break away from being the protected and become a protector.
She decided to become more than a mere flower girl and took the initiative when searching for work, stumbling across an advertisement for a personal assistant. Surprisingly enough, the person giving the interview was a man she was already familiar with, Dynnin. Needless to say, Juliette was hired as his personal assistant and was given access to the base of The Palladium Sentry which gave this maiden chance to actually meet heroes and heroines of the organization. Though she was just an assistant, she was able to sit down and speak with a few of them, thus fueling the flames of curiosity. The Sentry were the heroes she had been searching for, the group that will give her the chance she had been hoping for. After meeting Knight Sentinel, Juliette believed that she had found her rightful place with the team. Her dream was finally starting to blossom and hopefully -- she too can be a true Sentry.
She started to become comfortable with the Sentry, getting to know everyone through Dynnin himself. She made friends and allies, began to go with them on missions and put her skills to the test. However, as she learned of what it took to be a hero, she also learned of the shadow looming over the Sentry itself. An entity known as Red Moon. Juliette had heard tales of their endeavors against the being - but never thought she would be the one to encounter it, she was more concerned with being a hero to the people of Paragon, to help those that needed it - who ever thought that Knight Sentinel would be needing that same help in the end. Unfortunate events had taken place, consisting of her venturing into another dimension with the team, watching Knight's wife and unborn child get killed before their very eyes.. and the arrival of Victor VanBraun. With Knight Sentinel staying behind, the group found themselves without their leader. For months now, Juliette and the Sentry has been involved with members of a group called the Round Table, trained by Knight Sentinel himself. This was unbeknown to them was that these individuals, their interaction with the Sentry, will pave the future of Knight's Sentry..
What matters more to Juliette is being surrounded by friends. She shows love to everyone she comes across and gives them the benefit of the doubt. Always with a cheerful disposition, Juliette is one to quickly cause someone to smile and offer them a kind word. Because of this, she has made friends with even the most unlikeliest of characters, the complete opposites of the Maiden. Speaking of complete opposites, her cousin Malicious Minx is a prime example of a person who she is very different from, but share the same love for family.
She has met so many and befriended new people each day, it is hard to keep up. So feel free to include your own thoughts about Divine Maiden. Be it polite or not, have at it!
