Foreword
It has been a long time joke that I should make a Riddler-esque character, and someone (who I love very deeply...even though he keeps inspiring me to make alts *coughBad Dream*cough) forced me..if not inspired me to make Polysemy. I had no intentions and here I sit plotting out the mere idea constantly mulling inside my head. Welcome Polysemy to the world - and screw you Dream for being my muse, inspirer, and forcer in making alts! I'm not an alt maker!! *Angry fist shake*
Background
Born to home maker Isis Edenburg and Scientist Edgar Lockenshire on May 20th, 1997, Zoey was a beautiful, bright, and happy baby. Her mother and father had spent about 60,000 dollars in surgery just for her to be born, and as such they took care of her as if she were a frail glass ball. As her second year rolled around Isis and Edgar had been out with Zoey, when a drunk driver swerved and smashed into the car, killing both of her parents, but sparing Zoey who had been in an impervium car seat - a prototype of Mr. Lockenshire's.
Zoey was immediately taken to an orphanage where she spent most of her days reading books - the only thing her sad life had to offer. It was there she met five year old Thomas Kolt at the age of 10. She adopted him as her younger brother and the two were hardly ever separated. Zoey stayed to her quiet life of reading and researching, which developed her critical thinking abilities. She often wrote riddles for Thomas who would attempt to follow them and find whatever Zoey had hidden from him, and she played tricks on the other orphans around the house using her mind games. She toyed with small electronics such as remote controls, RV toys, and CD players. Eventually she moved up to computers, cell phones, and televisions - creating new things out of each of them.
At the age of 15, Zoey watched her orphanage burn down - destroying all of her inventions, and killing all of the nuns who ran it, and all of her friends - save for Thomas. She cared for him on the streets, scrounging up food, building things out of scrap metal for them to live in, and making small toys for him out of garbage. They living together on the streets for a year until Thomas was killed by R-41 Incinerator who happened to have also burned down her orphanage.
A year later (2010), the very broken, very tired, and very depressed Zoey, had decided to try to take back the Isles from the trouble making group Black Tie. While attempting to take Dream's life, Black Amaranth had charged her and her little group of rebels, killing all but three who were spared to take back to Bad Dream to be tortured. Once Dream caught sight of Zoey and her her plea, he spared her and took her in has his protege. As of now she serves Black Tie and Bad Dream, using her riddles to watch people wriggle before killing them - making her a very powerful, emotional, sensitive teenager - who has a lot of really, twisted thoughts.
Personality
Twisted in the head, she's set on killing people and things who act less than human - and less than animals. She's a liar, a sadist, a sick twisted mind in the hands of a man of equal malice.
Relationships
- Bad Dream - Zoey sees Dream as the father who awoke her to her full potential. She sees him as wise, intelligent, and appreciative of the things that matter in life. Because he spared her life and took her in as his protege, she feels loyal to him, and looks up to him to learn all she can.
- Black Amaranth - Zoey both detests and hates Amaranth for killing her friends who tried to kill Dream. She find her untrustworthy, and is often scared she is going to turn on Dream. Zoey stays well guarded around Amaranth and often dreams of the wonderful torture she could put her through.
- Markel Darkweaver - She doesn't like Darkey. She doesn't like Darkey One. Single. Bit. He strangled her - and that makes Zoey...quite unhappy.

Polysemy's theme song....I mean it's pretty much her. The way he sings the song, the lyrics to the song (yes I know it's about Drugs - lets go for face value here...) and a few epic lines such as "my bag is in the hat...its filled with this and that" suit her twisted personality. She talks in riddles and makes ambiguous statements because of how twisted she is...much like the song itself.
