Quick Slick was brought about by my love of speedsters. His inspirations were the speedsters Impulse(Who later became Kid Flash, who later became the Flash) and Quick Silver. The idea was to create an ADD speedster who in most senses of the word is the pure innocent hero, but only due to his ignorance of the world. He was not intended to be a tragic hero, but slowly he is turning into one.

Super Group
Personality
Jason is a fun loving teenager. His constant attitude is hardly ever serious, and he plays the fool to those who don't know him very well. Those who see him see a kid who is just out there to have fun. His real deal is with the fact that he came to Paragon from his hometown when he was a kid in order to escape his psychotic family and stretch his wings with his newfound abilities. He is if nothing else determined to become the greatest speedster alive. Yet he sees not the ones in place already as a threat to his goal, merely those whom he should learn from to become greater. He is greatly overwhelmed by grief from the recent death of his mother, but doesn't show it, and often plays the fool to mask his tragedy.
History
Jason was born in Memphis, Tennessee. His mother and father divorced when he was four and when he turned five his mother took him and moved to Paragon City. She put him in Paragon Elementary where he started out. There he met his best friend Oliver Cole, who would later be known to the world as Sentinel Kid. They were constantly partners in crime and both were huge comic geeks. When High School finally rolled around the two went into sports. Jason found that his running speed was getting faster and faster. He joined the track team and by his Junior year had become the Captain. The two were jocks within school and were extremely popular. Jason had a tendency to flirt with all the girls, though never kept a girlfriend more than a week before he became bored.
During the summer before his Junior year of high school, he began developing ice based powers. His body temperature was slowly dropping down to abnormal levels. One day he grabbed a hot can of his favorite soda, Pepsi. He was kinda agitated that it was hot and when he went to take a sip, he was shocked to find the soda was ice cold. He tried several similar experiments before he finally realized he could create and manipulate ice. When school rolled around, it took him forever to tell his best friend, Ollie. He was afraid that his best friend would hate him. He donned a costume that his mother helped him tailor and went to the streets as Quick Slick. However, in less than a week of becoming a super hero, his mother died of an undiagnosed form of cancer. It was with this that Jason finally told his best friend, who took up a bow and fought with him.
Jason began gaining super speed and when it finally came into full effect he built a base a mile under Paragon City High School. His family back in Tennessee think he's living in a Boarding school, however he's just been living there. It was then in his utter desire to have a family that he went to Atlas Park and found a bunch of teenagers like him and Ollie who were new to the hero business. Among those first few were him, Ollie, Zeta Silver, Kid Lazarus, Sound Fusion, and Spiderstreak. Those however are just a few members of the group compared to it's roster now. A few days after founding their new group, which they called Young Freedom, a boy from class named Gavin came to them presenting them with a list from the future. He left the group shortly thereafter for unknown reasons, but they held onto the list. The list is signed by Jason, Ollie, and Gavin and has a list of names of people that they were supposed to recruit in order to save the future from a threat that they themselves are yet unsure of.
