Physical Description

Remy has dark brown hair, with matching dark brown eyes to boot. However, the first thing a person would notice about him is his height. He's a rather short person, standing at around 5'3 or 5'4. He usually has some sort of dirt covered across his face from using his powers. His hair is rather messy too, although many people aren't able to spot that as he's hardly ever seen without some sort of hat, usually his black hat. No, he has no bald spot.

Personality

Although rather shy at first, Remy is one of the more cheery and positive people at the home. He likes to think of himself as a selfless individual who doesn't take things for granted, he can live just fine in uncomfortable situations simply because he's always covered in dirt and he has rocks stuck on his arms most of the time. Although a happy and playful person, it's easy to tell when he's bothered or disturbed by something as he tends to go silent and withdrawn from the situation at hand, the exception usually being anything that may put the home or his friends in danger. He knows when to get serious.

He can be rather dumb at times, especially when it comes to technology and pop culture references, having missed out on that kind of stuff as a child. He never really got much of a traditional education or exposure to technology until he lived with his grandmother, so obvious references may go straight through him. Even though he's not much of a TV or movie fan; he has a fascination with video games, even though he's not very good at them.

Thanks to his mother, he's also into gambling and board games. He can get very into them and very competitive.

History

Remington Brooks was born in Cap Au Diable to two Luddite supporting parents. They lived a fairly average life, with Remy or his parents getting involved in any sort of Luddite activity until Remy's mutation hit at around age twelve. It was there that his parents blamed the technology of Aeon city for triggering Remy's mutation and "altering" him. It was at that point that his parents would take part in protests from time to time, using him as a "poster boy" of sorts.

After the deaths of his parents due to an unfortunate "accident", Remy ended up living with his grandmother in St. Martial for around a year and a half, in which nothing spectacular happened to him. His grandmother did not share his parent's anti-technology ways, neither did it really bother her. Because of this, she engaged in no criminal activity or anything that would put her on record. However, during the final months of Remy's stay, her health started to slip to the point she could no longer care for Remy, meaning she had to give custody of him to someone else. With no other family in the area, he was sent to Father Gerard Henri's Home for Wayward Youth.

Trivia

The hat thing comes from me having no idea what hair style to give him.

He used to frequently wear a camo jacket, this lessened after Lucas suggested they become a camo-wearing team of some sorts.

A psionic wall keeps others from mind reading anything involving the secret of Father Gerard Henri's Home for Wayward Youth from him. So no mind probes!
