History
This history is based partly on what I've been able to come up with to explain certain aspects of the RP community that clash. As example, in the Christian faith it's accepted that their god is the only god and that their god created the universe. But not all RPers are Christian nor base their supernatural characters/normal characters origins in the Christian faith. Example are the many Role Players who have connections to Greek and Egyptian gods who each claim the feat of creating existence.
As such, I offer a possible explanation for this in SF's virtueverse. If you wish to accept this in your view of what's "Canon" in the RP Universe you may do so. Otherwise you may reject it as false speculation and believe what is known about SF is false. Keep in mind the great thing about RP is it is our world and therefore we can simply accept what we wish and reject we want--as long as we do so in a friendly manner that doesn't step on other people's toes.
Foreword
It's no secret that there exists a strong possibility that there exists multiple gods in this world and they utilize their followers to aid in their power. The Statesman and Lord Recluse have their power thanks to ancient gods. There exists devils and demons from all sorts of hells, the most prevalent one being that of the Christian faith. But where does the Devil King SF's origin lie?
In the world of supernatural beings there exists many theories. Some more popularly accepted as others. In terms of evil supernaturals it's commonly believed that demons are former angels corrupted. The most common are the demon servants of Lucifer. Devils on the other hand were beings who had always been evil and are the counterpart of gods. While it's possible for beings to turn into devils, such as Lucifer. SF has been present since the dawn of time as one of the various devils. In a way he is among the first super villains in existence.
Origin
The universe was created and with it were Gods and Devils--beings who embodied the universe itself. At first the universe was composed only of these beings and they quarreled. Certain Gods allied themselves with other gods. Others chose to remain alone. The same applied to devils--and these beings often formed rivalries with these groups and individuals. Much like the relationships between super villain and super hero. These rivalries formed the universe's first wars. The Devil known as SF was one of the many devils who sided with no one. Considered by many to be a mad man who made an enemy out of everyone. A being who wished to consume the others in order to be the sole being in the universe. But among these gods he was the weakest--albeit the only one capable of absorbing other gods.
The fighting lasted for eons until these divine beings decided wars between them were fruitless. Instead these deities would wage war in a different method. Influence. Each god would use their powers to create the universe as we know it. Each god had a power they contributed and if they chose would be the god of that element in their people's religion. Hence why in certain religions there are beings such as the God of Fire or the God of Lust. SF's was one of the several beings who's contributions was blood. As such he was believed to be one of the blood gods of man.
Dawn of Man
Due to the design of evolution, eventually beings that could worship the devils and gods emerged. Humans. SF was one of the many beings who were worshiped by these people, historians believe vampiric sects viewed him as their blood god. It was through their faith in him that SF gained power. But this wasn't enough for SF. As man evolved he desired to rule as he had no demon followers of his own. SF desired to body that could exist on the mortal plane.
The First Host of SF
One day a foolish power hungry vampire decided to attempt to summon the blood god his clan worshiped. In this ritual SF was invoked and was able to speak to this young man. SF guided the young man into forming a binding contract. SF would give the young man power in the exchange for his body. With those terms made neither party could break the rule. The young man, in his excitement, forgot to ask for more--such as the ability to control his body. Once the contract was finished SF merged with the young man, took control of his body, and began his bloody campaign.
It wasn't long before SF amassed a legion of servants. Unlike other devils SF wasn't powerful enough to create demons of his own to act as servants. But he had the uncommon ability to turn mortals, demons, and even angels into his own servants. Depending on what the person willed they would become more powerful or become a mindless beast. Those who did not accept SF would become part of his legion of brain dead slaves, often described as zombie like. Those who would accept a verbal contract to become his servant would find their lives spared, granted immortality, be able to use SF's Arcane Energy, gained several of his abilities, and this was all at the cost for becoming a part of SF.
It was during this time SF was given the title the "Bloody King" amongst mortals who thought he was simply another vampire lord who had gained power. Eventually when his influence started spreading throughout villages the old world took notice of him, as well the divine. As SF's influence grew divine beings took notice that he had breached their agreement about not appearing physically in the mortal world to influence. They themselves unable to break that law decided to push events in their way. They would push the events to slay SF and seal him away in a pocket Dimension.
At the time Arthur Williams, Nicholas Williams's grand ancestor, was one of the humans SF used to do hard labor at his castle. A young boy who was forced into slavehood by this despicable tyrant as his parents were slain by SF's servants. When he had finally gotten a moment alone after cleaning up one of SF's rooms of the previous night's 'activities' he did what was forbidden. He prayed to God. The child, despite the horrible life he had lived so far, had faith his lord would save him one day. While in most occasions not even a child's blissful innocence, this prayer was answered. For when he opened his eyes he saw a sword that glowed with the purest light he had ever seen. It was a simple broadsword that appeared to be made out of pure gold. Reaching out to it he would grab it's hilt. If by instinct he knew what had to be done.
The young boy was discovered by servants of SF and was quickly attacked when they saw the young boy with the weapon. Young Arthur cried out and slashed. Only for his eyes to open with amazement. As long as he held on this weapon his speed, strength, and agility far surpassed that of an adult. Not only that he was somehow given the knowledge of how to properly use it. With sudden confidence the young man slayed his way to SF.
Like all good stories...the young hero slays the violent tyrant.
But unlike those stories...there was no happily ever after. As when SF was dealt the final blow by this enchanted weapon he liquefied and coated both the boy and the weapon. Knowing very well his body would soon fade away into another dimension which would be his prison forever he did something he normally didn't bother with. He destroyed the boys soul--as punishment for going against the master Arthur would never know the afterlife. So the child would not die, he quickly absorbed all the child's blood and replaced it with his own. Effectively replacing the child's soul with SF's very essence. Once done he merely laughed.
"You naive boy. Your life is mine to toy. But please, young child, don't be sore. For I will curse you with a life of war. For each drop of blood you and your descendants shed. My return will soon be ahead."
The boy, bewildered, found all the SF servants had died out as their "main body" no longer was in this world. And even more the holy sword that slayed SF went with him as well. The most startling change he'd discover over time when he found he was bound to conflict. No matter where he went there was a fight and he eventually gave up to become a knight. From there--it's the history of METSU.
Powers
Blood Manipulation
SF being one of the beings supposedly responsible for creating blood his ability to manipulate dimensional matter in matters related to blood. Any blood that leaves a person's body in the vicinity of SF becomes part of him. Blood in SF's control defies gravity to a limited degree as well transform into numerous materials. SF mainly uses this to turn his blood into an unknown metal like material to be used as spikes or blades.
Infection
It's said SF was the universe's first virus. Being a weaker Devil he is unable to create his own servants, he can infect other beings. This infection is either forceful or accepted. A being once fully infected can be absorbed by SF. This infection also applies to energy as well.
Absorption
Whatever SF infects, he can absorb.
Weaknesses
SF may be a Devil "God" but in the mortal world is bound to certain rules. One of the reasons divine beings rarely appear on Earth is because they are bound to certain rules of physics that, while they can alter, limit their ability and give them weaknesses.
Blood Thinners
Being composed of blood, any blood thinners mixed into him will weaken his ability to turn his blood into solid matter. A great deal of blood thinners will reduce him to a pile of blood unable to turn into other matter.
