Seigyoku is a character that has technically been in the works for going on eight years, though her Paragon incarnation has definitely seen startling and radical changes from her prior forms. With this incarnation, I've tried to create a character that has an utterly alien yet still completely understandable point of view. If I had a goal with her, it would be to help people understand that alternate perspectives, though different, are not necessarily any less right than one's own.

Brief

Midori Itsuda is the clone of one original Seigyoku. Raised on the world of Tny Jierd, she returned to Earth to take her fight to the Crey. She has been a member of the KGB Special Section 8 for over two years, and was recently promoted to Intelligence Officer.

Personality

Myers-Briggs

Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging (ISTJ) is one of the sixteen personality types from the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. Referring to Keirsey, ISTJs belong to the temperament of the guardians and are called "Inspectors".

ISTJs have tremendous respect for facts. They hold a tremendous store of facts within themselves, which they have gathered through their Sensing preference. They may have difficulty understanding a theory or idea which is different from their own perspective. However, if they are shown the importance or relevance of the idea by someone whom they respect or care about, the idea becomes a fact, which the ISTJ will internalize and support. Once the ISTJ supports a cause or idea, he or she will stop at no lengths to ensure that they are doing their duty of giving support where support is needed.

Seigyoku, in civilian attire.

The ISTJ will work for long periods of time and put tremendous amounts of energy into doing any task which they see as important to fulfilling a goal. However, they will resist putting energy into things which don't make sense to them, or for which they can't see a practical application. They prefer to work alone, but work well in teams when the situation demands it. They like to be accountable for their actions, and enjoy being in positions of authority. The ISTJ has little use for theory or abstract thinking, unless the practical application is clear.

In general, the ISTJ has a tremendous amount of potential. Capable, logical, reasonable, and effective individuals with a deeply driven desire to promote security and peaceful living, the ISTJ has what it takes to be highly effective at achieving their chosen goals - whatever those may be.[1]

Subjective Account

Seigyoku is an oddity, seemingly utterly alien to Earth Prime customs. She uses metaphors and figures of speech awkwardly, and responds well only to statements that are very clearly outlined, direct, and to the point, unless she has some sort of familiarity with the person speaking. Oftentimes, she seems perpetually amused, "sissing" at things that would not be amusing to native inhabitants of Earth Prime. She is quick to anger when her friends are in danger, and tends to respond to threats with a mixture of cunning and brute force. Her most common battlefield tactic is to wait until her enemy is at his weakest, then strike with furious abandon.

Seigyoku is an extremely capable warrior, and this factors into her personality. She knows that she can take on the vast majority of threats, which empowers her with a large amount of self-confidence. She has no bravado, as, up until recently, she did not know how to lie or parse words. Forceful, confident, and to the point, but -always- quick with a joke or to see the humor in a situation, Seigyoku is a staunch ally to have at one's side.

When dealing with friends, Seigyoku is not much different. Her sense of humor, quirky as it may be, tends to get smiles out of even her most stalwart, adamant, and bald comrades. She is loyal, almost to a fault; when one has been inducted into her circle of friends, one almost always stays there.

Powers

The most accurate way to describe Seigyoku is to use the word "conduit." Seigyoku is not merely a master of kinetic energy, capable of taking it from one place and putting it in another - instead, she -is- kinetic energy, residing in her old natural form of a Jierd. This tends to manifest itself in heavy punches and blasts as well as a variety of tricks in order to keep her enemy off balance. For Seigyoku, however, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. For instance, if she were to flash freeze a body of water, she would need to take the heat energy that she absorbed and immediately place it elsewhere. Oftentimes, she will convert this thermokinetic energy into raw kinetic force, which she will then use to pummel her enemies.

Seigyoku speculates that she may be incapable of death without some extremely powerful, non-kinetic force interfering with her lifespan. As she mastered her powers, she noticed herself bleeding less and less, requiring less and less oxygen, and consuming less and less sustenance. Though she has not yet obtained complete mastery of her powers (to do that, she speculates, would take exponentially more time than the six years she has had to work on them), she has even developed a form of raw kinetic energy, converting her comfortable external shell into its constituent energy patterns. Oftentimes, during injury, Seigyoku has been known to encase herself in a kinetic shield and repair herself using only the kinetic energy around her. Given an environment functioning off of a non-kinetic set of physics, Seigyoku confesses belief to her closest friends that she may perish instantaneously; however, in the various dimensions she has visited that function off of kinetic rulesets, Seigyoku believes herself capable of regenerating from practically any physical wound.

Of late, Seigyoku has demonstrated decreased organ functionality. Her senses of taste, smell, and standard vision have all grown significantly weaker, and she has been eating less and less. What little she does eat, she does not seem to digest fully, indicating a gross failure in her digestive system. However, her senses of hearing and touch, both of which are kinetic in nature, have grown significantly more acute, and she claims an ability to see in an infrared manner now as opposed to a standard human manner. As well, though her body seems to be absorbing fewer nutrients from food, she does not appear weaker by any means; indeed, in many ways, she seems significantly stronger than two years prior, when she returned from Tny Jierd. She has stated that she is now capable of absorbing energy from kinetic sources and storing it to power her own kinetic abilities, which may give her the same effect as that that humans receive from nutrients.

Seigyoku has the capability of generating a human-like illusion by reconstructing the kinetic energy that makes up her shell. As useful as this image is, it is far from perfect. She does not often utilize this power anymore, but does so when "blending in" is necessitated. It was exceedingly useful during the Kommissar's Plot (see below) while trying to evade her original.

Seigyoku is occasionally asked why she is incapable of employing all of her abilities at a single time. This is largely due to her own lack of training and the concentration required in employing certain skill sets. For example, given the intense concentration required in maintaining her armor effect, at this time she is only capable of releasing the energy in concentrated but raw bursts of power; it cannot be applied to her other abilities simply because that particular feat would require training in her powers many years beyond her. The same can be said about her kinetic blasts; given the high amount of concentration required in employing such devastating offensive tactics, she simply does not have the mental capacity at this time to apply her more defensive abilities. Given enough time, however, Seigyoku speculates that she may be able to integrate her various powersets into one capable application. However, that time is far in the future.

Seigyoku, in her Blast Mode Variable Suit, Mobile Form.

Power Modes

Seigyoku's offensive powers take on various forms, described below.

Blast Mode Variable

Likely Seigyoku's more famous powerset, this manifests itself as Ice Blasts, Energy Manipulation, and Cold Mastery. Though her blasts may occasionally look icy in nature, Seigyoku's blasts are actually pure kinetic energy, which she actually draws from her foes and the surrounding area. Oftentimes, enemies will move significantly slower after one of Seigyoku's blasts, due to her drawing their own kinetic energy from them and pummeling them with it. Her punches are facilitated by kinetic shields, making them especially hard hitting. While using these powers, Seigyoku dons a power suit capable of mobility and agility, shedding passive defenses for her more active ones (pictured right). This powersuit also has a stealth variant, which Seigyoku uses to disguise herself and blend with the shadows during reconnaissance work.

Containment Mode Variable

Seigyoku's powers took on a second mode when she felt she had little left to achieve with her blatant offensive style. This mode has manifested itself as Ice Control, Kinetic Manipulation, and Fire Mastery. It functions off of the same premise - Seigyoku draws the kinetic energy from her foes and uses it to beat them into the ground. Noteworthy tricks include her Ice Slick, which is made possible by the condenser/dispenser that she keeps on her variable suit. Seigyoku will quickly spray the area with a fine jet of water, then flash freeze it, all the while using her mastery over kinetic energy to facilitate her allies movements along the slick so that they do not slip themselves. While in this mode, Seigyoku often employs the J.A.C.C. (Jierd Automaton for Combat and Control) automaton built by Crey Industries and heavily augmented by her own kinetic abilities. While using this form of her powers, Seigyoku employs the Containment Mode Variable Suit, which is more defensive in nature than its Blast Mode Variable counterpart. The Containment Mode Variable Suit also has a second form, which is lighter and fast-paced oriented.

Armor Mode Variable

As of 4 November 2007, Seigyoku gained permission from the city to use both of her skill sets at a security level of 50. Seigyoku lobbied almost immediately for permission to begin training in yet another application of her kinetic powers under the city classification of Tanker: Ice Armor: Energy Melee. This skill set still functions off of the same premise as all of her others: she draws energy from her opponents and uses it to bash them until they stop fighting. Indeed, this set may even be considered a heightened application of her powers, as she is drawing energy out of the very air around her and thus creating a zone around her body in which no or very little kinetic movement is possible. The visual effect seems something like ice, but is actually a visual distortion of the area within the kinetic boundary caused by the lack of kinetic movement. She uses this energy that she draws to propel her own body, turning it into a capable weapon against single targets. While this powerset lacks the finesse of her other applications, it is far more survivable.

History

Spoiler warning: Details about story arcs or other game content follow.

Original Seigyoku

Midori Itsuda, a Japanese immigrant, first made it to Paragon City about two or so years before the Rikti invasion. A mutant capable of kinetic manipulation, Midori was completely unaware of her powers for the vast majority of her life. Homeless, skill-less, and destitute, Midori worked side-jobs at manufacturing plants in a failed effort to muster enough cash to pay rent. She lived like this for some several years, right up until the Rikti invasion.

Post-invasion and like many homeless at the time, Midori fell in with the new villain group called The Lost, which at least eked out some form of comfort and power in Paragon. Noticing the grotesque mutations taking over her peers, however, Midori opted out. She was too late, however - the mutagen had already taken its hold on her system.

A freak Circle of Thorns accident awakened the psionic potential of her mutation in the form of thermokinetic combat. With both the magic and the Lost mutagen in her bloodstream augmenting her latent powers, Midori's body was no longer capable of ignoring her mutanthood. Her powers chose to manifest themselves in the form of temperature manipulation, specifically in the form of ice projectile generation and raw kinetic-energy punches. Midori took on the name Seigyoku, and began working as a vigilante for hire to pay the rent.

It worked. Midori began enjoying a middle-class lifestyle, raising herself out of her impoverished youth and both feeling and becoming the hero. She began to have relations with the KGB Special Section 8 through a friend she had met at the KGB homeless clinic, Vincent Alexei, who was also known as Red-Eye and a Field Commander of the organization. Though she would not sign on, she began vigilante work for the organization, most notably a field report on the then-recently discovered Striga Isle.

Midori got too close to the Crey Revenant Hero Project, and was apparently killed while infiltrating a Crey base. In reality, she was contracted by the Crey to begin work on a new line of clones for the Paragon Protector Corps, heading such a unit herself in security detail with the head of Crey Industries, herself. This was in exchange for a serum to halt the progression of her mutation. Several clones were created and sent to parallel dimensions with increased time flow, where they would mature more quickly and then heed an instinctive interdimensional call to return to Earth Prime.

Enter the Clone/Kommissar's Plot

The current Seigyoku, the KGB Intelligence Officer and perpetually-amused insectoid, is one such clone. Sent to the dimension of Tny Jierd, in which society had evolved much like the Rikti, the clone eventually made its way back to Earth Prime after establishing herself in Tny Jierd as a prominent botanist and gleaming a vast amount of knowledge from the mental libraries of the psionic society. However, while it had only been away for four Earth Prime days, it had been away for four Tny Jierd years. During this time, the clone was indoctrinated with Tny Jierd values, chief among these the politic of communism.

The original Seigyoku, now assuming the name Jane Peters and alias Mind's Eye.
Upon returning to Earth Prime, the clone, assuming it was the real Midori, made contact and immediately joined with the KGB SS8. This aroused some suspicion, but the organization was short-staffed at the time, and Midori reasoned that she needed protection from the Crey. Thus began a complex game of cat-and-mouse between the original Midori and her clone. Eventually, during a plot run by the Komisar himself, the original Midori supplanted her clone and threw the clone into a high-security KGB prison, all the while posing as the clone to the public.

Eventually, the clone was sprung by her comrades, though not before taking her cellmate, Dueling Dervish, as a biological mate (much to the chagrin of other KGB officers). As tensions climaxed, the clone engaged in a duel with the original, easily coming out on top as the original Midori's powers began to fade. The magic that Midori had glamed from the Circle of Thorns accident had spent itself out, and the mutagen had been cleansed from her bloodstream by a deal with the Crey. Without the two augmenting factors, the original Midori completely lost her abilities. In exchange for a quarter of the code required to disarm a trap that would kill tens of thousands of civilians, the original was not tried for her actions, instead hanging around the KGB base for a time and aiding the KGB with scouring the base for traps left by the Kommisar.

At this point, the original Seigyoku gave up both her alias and birth name and took up the name of Jane Peters, claiming a desire for a fresh start and a blank slate.Due to her prowess in this regard, she was approached by Shae Firewarder, who required aid in scouring for traps in her own magical house. The original Seigyoku lived well there, utilizing various magical artifacts to bring out her potential but lagging significantly behind her clone in terms of power development.

Exile

The clone, henceforce called Midori, was promoted to Recruiting Officer in light of her accomplishments immediately proceeding the Kommisar's plot. Her boyfriend, Dueling Dervish (Mike Donovan), eventually disappeared. She began a relationship with Samantha Nightglow, also known as Lunar-Lass, and has maintained it for over a year. The two even have a child in the future, Alexei Itsuda, who came to present-day Paragon during an event in which many children of current couples time-traveled back in order to save their future.
The Dueling Dervish, Michael Donovan.

Some time after the Kommissar's plot, Seigyoku ran afoul of one Christopher Jenkins, a Paragon politician known for his anti-hero stances. After interfering with a corrupt business deal between Jenkins and the Crey, Jenkins framed Seigyoku for the death of the Dueling Dervish and attempted to arrest her, correctly foreseeing that Seigyoku would resist arres. In a fit of temper, Seigyoku incapacitated the two officers arresting her, both woefully (and presumably purposefully) unprepared for the fury of her powers.

Well used to being on the run, this time Seigyoku decided to hide in Siren's Call, where a significant Longbow presence was otherwise occupied with Arachnos and vigilante forces. Those few Longbow that decided to make her a target met her blasts and her fists in head-on collisions, until Longbow was forced to call in backup to facilitate the arrest. Seigyoku managed to incapacitate nearly half of her pursuers with hit-and-run tactics before they cornered her in an alley. Instead of being arrested, however, Seigyoku was aided by members of the FUTURE (Fighting Until the Total and Unilateral Recognition of the Evolved) organization led by Aeterna Firebrand and the Strategos. FUTURE made short work of the Longbow squad, and Seigyoku joined with them, recruiting Lunar-Lass to join her in the Rogue Isles.

Being on the wrong side of the law did not sit well with Seigyoku's communist leanings, however, and she left to find the Dueling Dervish after a month or so of service. When the Dervish turned out not to be dead, Seigyoku asked Donovan to present himself in court to acquit her of her crimes. Duly acquitted, Seigyoku presented the evidence against Christopher Jenkins and brought the corrupt politician to his knees.

Aftermath

Midori eloped with her Samantha Nightglow in late 2006. She traveled with her new wife for some time, evidently honeymooning in Samantha's Kingdom of Lah before making a tour of the new seven wonders of the world. She recently returned to Paragon when news spread of the Rikti invasion, evidently holding a deep prejudice against the Rikti from her Jierd raising. For her valor on the battlefield and due to her exceptional reconnaissance abilities, Seigyoku was promoted to Intelligence Officer for the KGB and, for at least two consecutive weeks, was the single-most decorated soldier to serve in the Section. Upon her promotion, Seigyoku contacted her original, now going by Jane Peters, seeking the other's aid in infiltrated and raconteuring the Rogue Isles. Jane took up the villainous alias "Mind's Eye" and began using her stealthy powers towards pioneering KGB espionage in the area in return for a healthy stipend.

Seigyoku, staving off the Rikti assault.

As of 4 November, 2007, Midori obtained permission from the City to use her alternate powers at a security clearance level of 50. Though she had perhaps always been capable of using her alternate skill set in such a fashion, or at least had been for some time given her significant mastery over kinetic conductism, the city asked that Midori demonstrate her abilities as a safety precaution. Seigyoku lobbied almost immediately for permission to begin training in yet another application of her kinetic powers under the city classification of Tanker: Ice Armor: Energy Melee. The application is pending, but the City Representative sees no reason why the application should not pass, given that Midori is once again willing to limit the potency of these powers until such time as the city deems it safe for her to use them to the full extent of her abilities.

Samantha's Nictus

In late November 2007, shortly after Midori obtained her second certificate of Security Clearance Level 50, Samantha reported that Council agents had begun tailing her, though had not yet made any move upon her at the time. Samantha, a one-time Council research subject, was wary of being kidnapped again. Secretly, Midori assigned Mind's Eye, her original and the agent working under the office of the Intelligence Officer, to tail Samantha as well, and to keep an eye out for Council activity. When the Council attempted to kidnap Samantha, Agent Mind's Eye sprung from the shadows and eliminated the would-be abductors with lethal prejudice.

Samantha reported the altercation to Midori, who could not in good conscience allow Mind's Eye to continue tailing Samantha if there were to be casualties. Midori pulled Mind's Eye from the case very briefly in order to speak with her about casualties. During this small period where no KGB agents were tailing Samantha, the Council struck again, this time succeeding in kidnapping their target.

Seigyoku, utilizing her human illusion form, pictured with Lunar-Lass.

Midori was livid, and searched the streets for a day or so for clues as to Samantha's whereabouts before finally storming into a KGB meeting and asking for assistance in finding Samantha. The KGB spread out to areas of well-known Council activity and began interrogating any Council agents present. While interrogating, Midori's rage grew to incredible proportions, and she began using her powers at their full potential, utilizing kinetic mastery to dodge incoming attacks while incapacitating threats with little more than a gesture. During these moments of wild abandon, Midori killed two Council Archons. She has shown little remorse for these casualties, but, given that she had never taken a life before, is speculated to be battling her own inner demons on the matter privately and quietly.

While the KGB hunted Council, Agents Pestilence Girl and Angel-Night interrogated various entities and were successful in gleaming the location of a Council base in Peregrine Island. Seigyoku was the first on the scene, and stormed through the Council base with reckless abandon, severely injuring several Council agents in her fury. It was during one such skirmish in the laboratory section of the base that Midori was attacked by a Warshade in Nova form. They dueled for several minutes before the Kheldian claimed it was Samantha. Midori stood shocked, and was struck by sizzling Kheldian energy bolts.

The remaining KGB agents subdued the Kheldian and transported it to a KGB detention facility while Midori gathered enough energy to patch herself up. While Midori was the first to the cell block, she was ordered by Field Commander Comrade Smersh to not see the prisoner until she had been declared mentally and physically capable of duty. Midori nearly took a shot at Smersh himself, but managed to restrain herself in time to work out a trap during negotiations between the Nictus, which was forcibly in control of Samantha's body, and Soviet Shadow. The result of this trap was a device that suppressed the Nictus' brainwave pattern while strengthening Samantha's, allowing Samantha control of her body so long as she maintained the device on her person.

The assembly of the device took about a week, during which time Midori was not allowed to see Samantha unless under the presence of armed guard. She willfully ignored the order, causing significant strife between the leadership and herself, and has been heard mentioning how the incident shook her faith in the KGB leadership and especially in Comrade Smersh. At the time of the incident's conclusion, she served the KGB with caution, seeing signs in Comrade Smersh of Soviet-style egotistical corruption.

Immediately following the event, Midori sent her child to live with her friends Aleksei and Savannah Shade while taking Samantha home to the Moon Kingdom of Lah, where Samantha's powers are more potent. She applied for a leave of absence for both herself and Samantha, but left before it could be confirmed, willfully demonstrating an intention to leave regardless of how KGB leadership felt about the issue. Currently, Samantha and Midori are in Moon Kingdom Lah, working to help Samantha gain control of her body without the aid of the device.

Affiliations

KGB Special Section 8

Midori is currently the Intelligence Officer for the KGB Special Section 8, under the direction of Comrade Smersh and Soviet Shadow. She joined with the KGB almost immediately after returning from Tny Jierd as a temporary precaution against her original, who hunted her for the Crey. What began as a temporary relationship, however, evolved into a more permanent one. Seigyoku is one of the oldest active members on the roster, and now takes to recruiting and training new troops for coming engagements.

Samantha Nightglow Itsuda, alias Lunar-Lass

Lunar-Lass

Lunar-Lass, or Samantha Nightglow Itsuda, is a princess from the Moon Kingdom of Lah, and Midori's spouse. The two began dating late in 2005, and eloped a year later under the circumstances of Midori's exile. Their official anniversary date is December 2nd. Of the two, Midori is definitely the more dominant, "masculine" force in the relationship. She is fiercely protective of Samantha, often throwing caution to the wind and employing the full use of her powers when the girl is in danger regardless of the circumstances (In-game, this manifests itself as Vengeance). Samantha is the more adventurous of the two, however, and is largely the driving force in Midori's social life. Midori can have trouble enjoying herself largely because she avoids social situations, oftentimes due to extreme anxiety over acceptance given her looks. Samantha is the one that forces Midori to have fun. The two are aware of this dichotomy, and Midori has commented in the past that it is one of the many things that "makes [their] relationship work."

Red-Eye, KGB Agent

An amusing bit of trivia is that the two eloped to Las Vegas, where they were married by an Elvis impersonator while intoxicated. Midori was forced to pose as a man due to homosexual marriage illegality in Nevada. Eventually, the couple obtained a marriage license from Massachusetts to validate their marriage.‎

Red-Eye

Vincent Alexei, alias Red-Eye, is Midori's best friend, and was one of her staunchest supporters during her exile, even going so far as to "accidentally" fire a smoke grenade to enable Midori's escape upon her arrest. It was Vincent who encouraged Midori to join the KGB, and Vincent who waved the appropriate paperwork. It was also Vincent who set up the safe-houses for Midori while she was hunted by the Crey. As well, Vincent was an instrumental part of Midori's team in arresting and interrogating the Countess Crey.

Comrade Smersh, Field Commander for the KGB

The two are well-known amongst their friends for pranking each other. By far the best of these pranks came from Vincent, who gave Midori a kitten for her birthday. The kitten turned out to be an attention-starved manifestation of a cosmic entity, which revealed its sentience and ability to speak psionically after losing itself in the Shadow Shard and forcing Seigyoku to assemble a team to attempt to find it.

Comrade Smersh

Comrade Smersh is Midori's boss, more or less. While mostly respecting his authority, Midori has been known on occasion to disobey direct orders that sees as ridiculous, more than once earning a stern tongue-lashing for dereliction of duty (and accompanying sewer patrols) but never being formally court-marshaled. For a time, a mutual respect developed between the two, with either party engaging in taunting the other during battle. This has been undermined by recent events involving Samantha and her Nictus symbiont, during which Smersh ordered Midori away from Samantha for a period of about a week. Midori feels that this was not only unfair but also grossly negligent of Samantha's wellbeing, and believes it to be a symptom of Soviet-style corruption in her Field Commander. She now follows him skeptically and cautiously, scrutinizing his every order to be sure that he does not fall prey to the same egotistical malady that brought low his predecessors.

Soviet Shadow

Soviet Shadow is Midori's immediate superior, and the agent within the KGB to whom Midori directly reports. An intelligence officer herself from during the days of the Soviet Union, Soviet Shadow often gives Midori advice about the best way to handle delicate situations. During battle, the two work well as a pair, and have been known to break away from the group as a special cell designed to infiltrate and eliminate objectives. When pressed, Midori might confess that she once harbored a slight crush on Soviet Shadow before she met Lunar-Lass.

Other Affiliations

The FUTURE Organization

Aeterna Firebrand and his FUTURE organization are most directly responsible for Midori's safety during her exile. It was Aeterna who rescued her from Siren's Call when she was cornered by Longbow, and Aeterna who gave her and Lunar-Lass a place to stay in the Rogue Isles. Though Midori no longer resides in the Rogue Isles, she maintains her contact with Aeterna for both intelligence and personal reasons.

Original Seigyoku/Mind's Eye

The original Seigyoku, now Jane Peters alias Mind's Eye, is currently working under Seigyoku, actively infiltrating the Rogue Isles and sending information back to Paragon City. Though the two quarreled in the past, with the original Seigyoku attempting to at first capture her clone and then eliminate her when capturing became unfeasible, the tides turned when Midori bested the original Seigyoku in battle but spared her not only her life but also any further injury. The original Seigyoku loitered around the KGB base for a time disarming various traps left behind by the Kommissar until Shae Firewarder asked her to perform similar duties for her in her new home. The original Seigyoku left Paragon and her history behind, taking on the name Jane Peters and the alias Mind's Eye. While she still lives with Shae Firewarder and has indeed become good friends with the woman, she has once again taken on employment with the KGB by serving as a Rogue Isles operative and infiltrator for her clone, the Intelligence Officer.

Trivia

Seigyoku's sleep cycle upon returning to Paragon City was approximately thirteen hours every twenty-six hours. Since the mastering of her powers, she sleeps very little.

Seigyoku speaks very oddly, a reflection of the Tny Jierd language that she still remembers. She refers to herself as Self, and to others as "entity" if she is on unfamiliar terms with them, "ally" if they are on the same side, "comrade" if they are coworkers, "enemy" if they are enemies, "friend" if they are friends, and just by their name if they are lovers. For example, Lunar-Lass is referred to as Samantha, while Cog Sprocket is referred to as Comrade Sprocket.

Seigyoku has an extensive knowledge of botany, especially as it relates to the bioengineering of nutritious plants. The Tny Jierd diet consists largely of a genetically-enriched kelp that is grown in specialized sea farms, which Seigyoku helped improve. She retains a part-time teaching position at the Paragon University, instructing in this field.

Seigyoku has a lineage in Tny Jierd. The Jierd reproduce via selective breeding for the enrichment of the race, mostly by gamete-harvesting and genetic recombinance. Due to Seigyoku's latent mutant abilities, the Ts'Da line is considered strong, and usually bred for peacekeeping initiatives (though, even with Jierd technology, the potency of Seigyoku's abilities has yet to be reached in any of her offspring). Given that times flows in Tny Jierd at approximately 365 times the speed of Earth Prime and that she has been absent of Tny Jierd for two years in Earth Prime time, Seigyoku could theoretically have millions of offspring at this point.
