Background

Origins

Ava was born suddenly while her parents were on a trip to Rainview, a quaint town in Wisconsin with a population of a little under five hundred. It was a rather awkward time to be born, as it was during a bank robbery being perpetrated by her parents. The teller being robbed offered to call for help, before he found himself being shot and killed by the robbers. They still managed to successfully rob the bank, while Rebecca was giving birth.

Ten thousand dollars richer, the young couple saw no need for a child, and took care of it as any sense-able person would. By throwing it into the nearest dumpster and tossing in a live grenade. Luckily for the minutes old baby, a local deli worker saw the event take place, and saved the baby from a very early and messy death. Leo took the baby to the nearest hospital and soon found himself becoming the legal father of the baby, now named Avangeline.

Leaving Rainview

At the age of eighteen, Ava felt the need to spring out on her own. Telling her father this, he insisted he show her the truth before she decided to leave. Dropping the bomb shell of her true parents, Ava refused to believe it, telling Leo that whoever her true parents were did not matter, insisting that the only true family she had was him.

Packing her things, she was out of Rainview by the next hour, knowing she wanted to start a new life on her own in Cliffsight City, Nevada. However, she screwed up her airplane ticket and ended up getting a ticket for a flight to Paragon City. It was only halfway through the fight that she noticed her horrible mistake. Unable to do anything, she only sighed and fell asleep until she reached the city filled with heroes.

Birth of a Hero

Upon reaching the end of her flight, Ava made a quick call to get a room for the night. Once she reached her room, she began looking up ticket for a flight back to Rainview, which would cost her the rest of her money. What she didn't know was that this night would set in motion a chain of events that would shape the rest of her life. Only an hour after falling asleep, the hotel she was staying in came under attack, and she soon felt herself falling out a window due to an explosion titling the building over.

Before she could become a sidewalk pancake however, she was saved by an angel from the sky, a hero. What hero it was, she did not know, nor would she know as he flew off faster than she could even say thanks to him. She watched the mysterious hero also catch other falling figures, and fight off the super villain that was attempting to topple the tower. This was got the spark that set her on the path to become a super hero. Though, this path would take a bit of trial and error before she got it perfected...

Ninja of the Night: Total Failure

Having taken kickboxing classes as a child, Ava felt she had plenty of experience to take down criminals that feared the light. Going to a costume shop, she bought the first non-conspicuous, never before seen costume, a ninja outfit! Once she got home, she realized a very large roadblock in her new outfit. The outfit was about three sizes too small. Not one to give up, she put on the costume, only to find out it showed a little more of her body than she would have liked.

So she took a stapler, and stapled one of her very expensive cloth sheets to the costume. The fear of under-boob out of her mind now, she could now go out to fight crime in the night, albeit a bit more clumsily, as the dark and gritty Ninja of the Night. Of course, she did not blend into the night too well, as her black costume was hampered by her almost glowing white sheets, hampering her for stopping her first crime.

It was a small group of men robbing a small store from the back. When she attempted to sneak up on the group, she soon found a bullet lodged in her shoulder, toppling her over the rail of the fire escape. The men ignored her as she writhed in pain, instead focusing on stealing every piece of tech that was not bolted down. The only time they interacted with her, was one that kicked her in the stomach as they were leaving.

Obviously, this was not the way to go...

Steel Darksaver Powers Up

Steel Saver suit

After a month in the hospital, Ava decided that using her own strength to fight crime was not very effective. Finally getting a job and a stable place to live, she began planning, a suit which would enhance her abilities tenfold. Finding the nearby junkyard had a stable supply of resources, she began to work on the power armor she code named "Steel Saver." After three years of working, she found herself hitting a rather big roadblock, there was no stable way for her to power the suit. Sure, atomic energy could do the trick, but considering her salary, that was out of the question.

This caused her to lose motivation, and she fell out of the spirit of wanting to be a hero. Four years would pass, the Steel Saver armor gathered dust in a hidden compartment of her apartment as she went on with life. Never missing a day of work within this time, her boss decided she needed a mandatory vacation, and told her about a quint patch of forest he used to go to in his younger years, and he knew she would enjoy it. Not one to argue against a free vacation, she went home early that day to pack all that was needed for a stress relieving camping trip.

She left Paragon City behind her, and soon found herself at a small cabin within the forest she would be staying in for a few days. The first night was pure bliss, as she had not had a good night sleep in over three weeks. This was sadly a trend that would continue, however for the better this time. She was awoke by the out something impacting the ground outside the cabin. Walking out, she discovered a purple glowing meteor had crashed in the front of the cabin. Feeling curious, she approached the meteor, and found an odd energy coming off it.

After pulling a small device she had once crafted for the Steel Saver suit out to scan the object, she discovered that the crystalline object was producing an energy with enough power to compete with atomic energy. The spark lit back up at that moment, as she left the cabin and returned to her home. Brushing away spiders and other insects that had made the Steel Saver suit their home, she began to modify the suit to a point where it could be powered by the meteor's odd power, dubbed Concentrated Dark Matter by her.

After a bit of tweaking, and painting, the Steel Saver suit came to life. The Concentrated Dark Matter came out of the crystals, adding an extra kick to every punch, prompting Ava to rename the suit, and her persona, to Steel Darksaver...

Paragon Adventures

Dawn of the First Day

Taking a day off work, Ava prepared her suit for it's first ever live patrol. Upon getting in, she noticed that the AC unit that had once been installed was long dead, leaving her with a very hot and humid first patrol. Shrugging it off as something to fix later, she made her way to her apartment's roof, and began leaping from building to building over the rooftops of King's Row.

Suited hero had her work cut out for her, as King's Row was not exactly a very friendly place to live, mostly due to the heavy influence of the Skull's gang. Her firsts acts as a hero involved her falling into alleyways and preventing murders to stopping muggings. Punches and attempted stabbings were proved to be rather ineffective against the armor, much to Ava's glee.

Still, she was rather curious, how would the armor stand up to gun fire? She got her chance to find out soon after stopping the fifth mugging she encountered.

She happened upon a full on robbery, oddly similar to the one she had tried to stop as Ninja of the Night. In fact, it was way too similar, considering it was the same group of thugs robbing a different store. They seemed to have a different tone to them this time, this time clad as members of the Skull's rival gang, the Hellions.

Ignoring the oddness, she took to stopping this crime in a less subtle way than she had attempted as Ninja of the Night. Leaping down in the middle of the group, the first punch she laid sent the robber flying into the side of his truck. As Ava began to hold back, the robbers began to open fire on the suit.

More glee appeared on Ava's face as she found the bullets hitting the armor, yet not piercing it, only leaving a few dents. In her adrenalin rush, she failed to notice the tinges of pain that hit her body with every shot. After about a minute later, the attempted robbers were taken down, and left in a position for them to be found by the now incoming PPD.

She made her way home and removed the armor. Dents left by bullets littered the power armor, but it was easily fixable. Tired and sweaty, Ava decided to take a shower, suddenly feeling really sore for no explained reason. It was only after she disrobed that she noticed she was covered in bruises left by the force of the impacting bullets.

Out of sheer pain, Ava did not go to work the next day, and Steel Darksaver did not make a patrol. Clearly, there was some tweaking to be done.

Armored Hero vs Suqiiiiiiid

Weeks after her first steps into the world of super heroes, Ava began to go to Pocket D out of costume to observe the heroes she may work with in the future. Most nights went the same, order a drink from the bartender, usually a soda of some sort, slip him or her a note to actually get her vodka, and mingle with anyone there.

Oddly enough, she stroke up a conversion with a woman named Ms. May I multiple nights in a row. The odd thing was May was actually part of Arachnos, though Ava did not care. However, she did not get along well with Steel Darksaver, and the two often came to blows in battle, forming a rivalry of sorts. Ava kept the awkward truth to herself, not wanting to ruin any friendship she could have with this woman.

On one faithful night, Ms. May I was nowhere to be found, Ava figuring she may have been taken down by another hero, or just off doing general bad things. She sat at the bar, alone, other heroes talking among themselves. Unknown to Ava, a purple haired woman had been looking at her for a few moments, before walking over and announcing, "Heyheyhey, I wanna taste you!"

Ava, being a sane person, shoot a look of confusion at the odd woman, and got up and walked away. Before she could get far, she heard the sound of a transformation, turning to see the woman was actually a Warshade. Bolting down the stairs, Ava leaped inside the Pocket D Vault and began to put on her Steel Darksaver armor. Putting it on in double time proved ineffective, as both Ms. May I walked in, and the Warshade, named Breakveil, flew in behind her.

Ms. May I, very angry at this revelation, threatened to reveal her secret identity to the entirety of Pocket D, but was cut off by Breakveil complaining about wanting to taste what was inside the armor. The prodding and poking of tentacles got to Steel Darksaver, she began to fight with Breakveil, unknowing that she was actually a hero like her.

The fight did not go well for Ava, as the Warshade's air superiority proved too much for the brawler. The armor heavily damaged, and Ava too tired to continue fighting, Breakveil removed her helmet and prodded her face with a tentacle, taking the taste she wanted. This was far more traumatic to Ava than it actually should have been.

It did provide an odd sight afterwards, the sight of May comforting Ava slightly, and even helping her home, vowing that she would not reveal her secret to the world, yet. This would also begin the start of the Mark II project, as the Steel Darksaver suit was in shambles and need drastic repairs, and AC!

Ava's Worst Nightmare: Tentacles in Water!

Ava did not often go to Independence Port, yet she found herself there on a damp morning tracking odd Family and Council movements out of costume. With her was sometimes ally and friend, Alice, who occasionally slips into a wonderland in her head. As they walked down the docks, Alice happened to notice a woman commanding soldiers to fire on an unseen foe.

Thinking it to be the Council, Ava ran off to get into the Mark III armor behind a stack of supply crates. After a quick warp on, Ava joined the scene, jumping onto the top of the cargo ship's bridge to punch out the leader of the troops. What followed was Ava stopping mid-punch, looking at what the woman's troops were fighting, and slump over in bewilderment.

What was seen, was the giant tentacles and head of a excessively large octopus.

The woman promptly stated her name was Aviel, she was the leader of an elite squad of soldiers named the Crimson Wolves, and that it would be nice if her head was not removed by Steel Darksaver's punch. Taking in the sight that the Wolves were not even getting Lusca's attention, Alice took action by flying towards the creature, only to be swatted away like a fly.

Aviel and her troops pulled back from the situation, stating she would be back with reinforcements soon. This left Ava and Alice to face the giant beast, and it did not go well. Alice tried her technique again, this time actually cutting a tentacle with her knife before being swatted away. Ava in the mean time, could not even bring herself to leap at the monster, constant visions of her drowning while trapped in a sinking Mark III constantly bounding through her head.

It was then a voice asking if they needed help was heard, prompting the two to look to the bridge of the ship to see the hero named Multiple Girl, clad in a bikini. Ava had seen enough hentai to know what could happen. She then sent out a call to heroes across Paragon City to fight the large monster.

Soon enough, many, many heroes showed up to fight the octopus monster, including the return of Aviel and the arrival of Ava's friend, Tyrric Zec. The fight started soon afterwards, with over thirty of Paragon's Finest Heroes mounting an assault on Lusca. The fight went well, with the octopus moving out to more open water, which was bad news for Ava.

She could only stare at the water as the other heroes dove in or flew after the monster. Thinking quickly, Ava ran back to the docks and punched out a Wing Raider, stealing his Raptor Pack from his unconscious body. Strapping it onto the back of the suit, Steel Darksaver took flight for the first time.

The battle went by quickly, with only one incident to mention on Ava's end. With only two tentacles still fighting, Ava found herself being swatted away like Alice had before, and crashing into the water, sinking like a rock. She thanked whatever deity there was, as the Raptor Pack managed to work underwater and bring her to the surface before any major flooding could happen.

Soon enough, the mighty Lusca was defeated, and all the heroes parted ways, to fight, to rest, whatever they may have done. All Ava knew was that her night would be filled with cleaning ink out of the suit, buffing out dents, pouring water out of the internal systems, and making it water tight.

Shattered

Punching Skulls, saving sacrifices from the Circle of Thorns on rooftops, the average after work shenanigans Ava tended to partake in. However, today was different Ava had an odd feeling throughout her patrol, like something bad was going to happen to her. Thinking this could be the repetitive nature of her patrols, she opted to change it up to see if the feeling faded.

On the way to Steel Canyon, Ava made a personal note to never ride the monorail while in the armor. It caused too many looks and odd glances, even from heroes wearing less coverage than a bikini and skin tight spandex. She was thankful the trip was over in a very short amount of time, her hurried exit may have added to the short time span.

After about an hour of beating down Outcasts on the street, Ava still felt the feeling of uneasiness. Deciding to call it a night, she warped out of her suit and made her way to the local Icon to find inspiration for future designs. While there, she noticed a group of people talking among each other, recognizing them from Pocket D a night before. She couldn't talk to them, she was Steel Darksaver when she spoke to them, and she would rather not give away her secret identity without knowing them too well.

Luck was not on her side, as the doctor of the group pulled out a strange device that had begun blinking. Telling the others it was the tracker he had put on Steel Darksaver the night before, Ava made a hasty get away, thinking it could the the teleporter on her he was tracking.

It was not long before the group followed her. Wanting not to get caught by the much faster, flying heroes, Ava made her way into a skyscraper and headed for the top floor. Once there, and making sure she was alone, she began to hastily look over her teleportation device, scanning for any sort of anomalies. The lack of anything unusual sent Ava into a mild panic attack, thoughts of some sort of probes having been injected into her body filling her mind.

When the group of heroes appeared, only asking her if they could do a quick scan, Ava went into full on panic mode. To the horror of the group, Ava lost her footing, and crashed out of the nearest window, sending her tumbling down to the streets below. Her fall was only slightly broken her the constant impacting between two buildings. She soon hit the sidewalk, leaving her bleeding, broken, and shaking violently.

When the others arrived, the doctor quickly scanned her, and was amazed to see that, despite her bloody and broken look, that only her right leg was shattered, while the rest of her bones looked okay. Ava, in a daze, managed to activate the teleportation device, and warp in a raptor pack for her to escape the heroes help. Once far enough away, she activated it again, warping in the Mark IV onto her body. She thanked what ever deity was actually there that she had installed a system to pump pain killers into her body in the Mark II.

Even with her leg shattered, Ava managed to hobble and limp back to her home, where she would spend a very painful night trying to build a cast/brace hybrid that would allow her to still move around freely. After a full night's work, she had managed to create a leg brace that would do the impossible and allow her to use her shattered leg.

Still, Ava did not show up to work the next day, calling in that she had come down with a really bad flu, and nothing else.

Personality

One thing to note about Ava is her different personalities when in and out of the suit. Once attempting to enter the hero scene, Ava put on a shy and innocent appearance when out of costume, those only very close to her know her true personality. That personality showing through when she enters the Steel Darksaver suit, heroic, complementing, and an overall happy tone. She can also be slightly cold to others at times, but this is only when something serious is on her mind, usually bad.

She has an astounding fear of demons, breaking her shy persona out of costume to get away as fast as possible. This can lead to some awkward moments with heroes who are not demons, but appear mildly demonic. She also has a mild case of aquaphobia, refusing to do anything out on open seas or lakes, originating from a near drowning at the age of sixteen during a vacation to one of the great lakes.

Suits

Steel Darksaver MK-I

Steel Darksaver Power Armor MK I

Built from melted down junk over the course of three years, the first Steel Darksaver suit's most prominent trait is it's absurd height compared to Ava's own height. While this may be brushed off as her trying to be bigger than she actually is, the truth of the matter is actually slightly more complicated. While Ava has a great technical understanding, she is horrible at minimization. Thus, the first suit is bulky and large.

This size and bulk did not hinder it in combat however. In fact, the size of it adds to any form of brute strength it would dish out if it was just slightly larger than Ava. It also comes equipped with powerful leg amplifiers built from car pistons, allowing for massive jumps to be performed by this suit. These pistions also remove stress to her legs, allowing her to fall from much higher than any normal human would even survive.

One of the major downsides of the armor is the amount of time it takes to take on and off. It is a ten minute wait each time she wishes to suit up of suit down, a problem that leaves her open to attack or being spotted getting ready by a civilian. Luckily for her, she often only puts it on and takes it off within the comfort of her own apartment.

Steel Darksaver MK-II

Steel Darksaver Power Armor MK II

After an intense battle against a Warshade named Breakveil, the Mark I suit was in shambles and needed serious repairs. Dragging herself back to her apartment, Ava began drawing up concepts to improve the shambled armor suit.

These enhancements allowed her to slim down the suit ever so slightly, but not enough to notice on the outside. Most noticeable improvements were the legs and shoulder pads, both now made out of new materials. The new leg enhancements allowed for more shock support, letting her more easily proceed from jump to jump. The shoulder pads were converted from useless armor pieces to become spare power containers. The entire suit was also coated in a fresh layer of steel, and not from the junkyard.

The suit itself is also much more comfortable on the inside, now sporting and internal AC and much more complex and effective visor vision.

Steel Darksaver MK-III

Steel Darksaver Power Armor MK III

After yet another battle with Breakveil, the Mark II armor was in shambles in a similar fashion to the Mark I. It was obvious that the suit needed to be modified further to stop any future Warshade encounters that would go similarly.

New enhancement to the armor included a stronger torso armor piece that could now actually absorb the shock from small arms fire unlike the previous suits. Other improvements were the boots, engine pistons taken out for a new shock absorbers, even better internal AC, and an even newer piece of computer software for the visor. Minor paint changes took place, most notably the leg paint job, now featuring a more prominent red coloration.

The biggest change is the time it takes to put on and take off the suit. On a rather quiet night in Pocket D, Ava was met with a gift from Ms. May I, an Arachnos prototype mobile teleporter. Needless to say, Ava quickly did some tinkering with it, mostly removing any future Arachnos influence from getting the 'porter, and worked it into the Mark III. It results in her being able to suit up near instantaneously, lessening the awkward walk ins that could occur.

Steel Darksaver MK-IV

Steel Darksaver Power Armor MK IV

Despite Ava's constant denial that there would never be a Mark IV to Ms. May I's annoyance, she eventually began sketching during a lonely night in Pocket D. While sketching a few separate suits that were not built off of the Mark III's body, she started unwittingly sketching a much more powerful way of energy for the suit. It was oddly simple, which resulted in Ava bashing her head against the wall a few times when she arrived home.

She removed the old shoulder pads, and replaced them with shoulder pads inspired by the gauntlets. This simple change nearly doubled the power output of the suit, adding a bit more kick to every punch thrown. Still, Ava was hesitant to call this the Mark IV, believing not enough had changed to call it that. Upon looking at it further, she began to dislike the amount of red on the suit, thinking it was too much compared to the last two Marks. Getting into her creative mode, she painted the suit with a similar design motif to the Mark II.

After a few more minor changes, such as a few bug fixes within the visor's software, Ava believed she could truly call it the Mark IV. She insisted to herself that there would be no more upgrades to this suit, opting to make new suits in time for specific situations.

Ava eventually tweaked the Mark IV ever so slightly to add a backpack also inspired by the gauntlets and shoulder pads. While this would prevent the Mark IV from being able to connect to a Raptor Pack or some sort of Jetpack-like device, Ava figured she could always just make another armor for that type of thing.

Dr. Venx

"You've been a nail in my side for quite a while now. Let's finally finish this little game, shall we?"

Just an average day for Venx

In some sort of twist of fate, Eliza Venx was the first super villain Ava technically ever fought, considering she was a bully during High School. Unlike the moronic jocks, Eliza would think ahead to find ways to torment Ava physiologically, rather than outright beating her up. One such instance involved her trapping Ava in the swimming pool, but by that point it seemed she was trying to flat out murder Ava, rather than bully her.

They say karma bites, but it seemed to avoid Venx, as she soon became a very big crime boss within only a few years of graduating at the top of her class. She needed parts for some of the bigger plans she had, so she hired a group of Skulls to perform robberies around town, stealing some of the most high tech equipment around town. All was going well, with no heroes interrupting their subtle robberies. That was, until they got careless and were stopped by a new hero named Steel Darksaver.

It was a mild inconvenience to the self proclaimed doctor. She could still continue with her plans uninterrupted, so she simply hired another group of thugs, this time hellions, to continue the strikes on many technology hot spots. Again, the thugs were stopped by Steel Darksaver. Whether this was a coincidence or if the hero knew where the thugs were going to strike, Eliza needed to stop this hero from causing anymore damage to her plans.

She would have to wait though, the hero's armor was way to powerful to just have an ambush of thugs jump it. Several months would pass before she was contacted by another, actual doctor, named Zabel.

Venx's Steel Destroyer

"My only 'programing' is that I must destroy Steel Darksaver, eventually."

Nice new paint-job Steel Darksaver?
A robot in robot armor!

Venx's plot had originally consisted of constructing an armor of super robots to take the place of normal mooks and thugs in her other plans. With the constant intervention of Steel Darksaver, she had only obtained enough parts to make one, hyper intelligent one, codenamed V-001. While it could easily take out a well trained normal human in combat, he would be no match for a super.

That was until Venx was contacted by Zabel, who claimed to have an army of living Steel Darksaver armors. A quick banter later, and Venx got her hands on the Steel Destroyer plans, ones most similar to the Darksaver suit in terms of construction. The robotic suit's internal core needed to be removed so V-001 could enter the suit with ease. A quick study of the original suit seemed to indicate that Steel Darksaver's power came from the crystals located on the various parts of the body.

Venx was unaware as to what the crystals were, so she forged her own. Naming it hypercrystine, she saw it was highly charged with electricity, which may be able to short out the Darksaver suit. Once constructing the suit, Venx felt that the new Steel Destroyer needed a test run. She reprogrammed V-001 with a form of free will except with one exception, he must kill Steel Darksaver. She then dropped him off in the Rouge Isles to train himself.

After a few months within the Isles, Destoyer left for Paragon City, playing himself off as Steel Darksaver in a new suit to get easy access. A dual soon broke out in King's Row between the two Steels, Ava loosing her helmet in the process blowing her secret identity to the robot. Oddly enough, V-001 kept the secret to himself, intending on using it to get to Ava in other ways in the future.

Omegaus Miyaximus

"I am known as The Great and Invincible Omegaus Miyaximus the Great and Invincible!

Da bes!!11!

Although Ava is still clueless about the origin of her suit's power source, she was given at least a tiny piece of information with the sudden arrival of Omegaus Miyaximus. While Ava had met aliens before while in the armor, this was the first time she had met one while relaxing at an outdoor cafe. This was also the first time she had become some sort of damsel in distress, as he grabbed Ava and leaped off to a junkyard.

He began drilling her on the location of the Renumus Power Source, as he saw trace evidence of it on Ava's body. Refusing to answer, the alien moved into outright up and kill her, when he was interrupted by a rather generic, spandex wearing hero. This gave Ava the chance to escape and put on the Steel Darksaver armor.

After a shockingly quick battle, Ava found she had torn the tiny alien into many small pieces. Feeling rather sad about being one of the killing type heroes, she returned home and went to bed. What she did no know, was that Omegaus Miyaximus was absorbing nearby junk to become larger and stronger.

The next day, Ava used her day off from work to go on patrol, and found herself now looking at a much larger Omegaus Miyaximus, almost dwarfing the Steel Darksaver armor. Another fight broke out between then, with the alien using cars and other street objects as weapons. He quickly overpowered Ava, and attempted to remove the crystals from the armor. This turned out to be a bad idea, as it caused the Steel Darksaver armor to become electrified, shocking Ava and Omegaus Miyaximus at the same time. While this subdued Omegaus long enough for him to be put into containment, neither battler noticed the odd shape fly out of the crystal and into the distance...

Bob, the Telemarketer from Hell

"Hello, I'm Bob, and would you like to know how to get a free trip to Hell?!"

Oh God help us all...

Louie

"Ava, the dumbshit got another virus on his Mac, can you take care of it?.

Finally, someone normal!
Welp, spoke too soon.

Ava's day-job is a tech support assistant at Vengas Industries, and her boss is known only as Louie. He was a former military sniper before being discharged and moving to King's Row. Oddly enough, he managed to figure out Ava's secret relatively fast, simply due to her sudden tiredness and soreness.

With him covering for her, Ava can easily enter hero mode and save the day if no one else can. It also helps when needing days off after an intense battle of some sort. Louie trusts her with his life, even to the point where he found an area for her to store the Hydro and Aerial armors within the Vengas Enterprise building.

He still is nearly perfect with a sniper rifle, and has been known to help out Steel Darksaver if some sort of battle happens near or in Vengas Enterprises. It is also not uncommon for him to devolve into a pure rage if any of his precious, recently fixed technology is destroyed in a battle.

Monk of Ti'vhaan

"May Ti'vhaan forgive you in death."

I am vengeance...
...and I need to shower too, Ava!

Corvus hails from an alternate version of earth, where most of the land and oceans are made up of gas, not unlike a gas giant. Only a few specks of land float around the planet, where life and civilization slowly sprung up. Corvus was part of a group of Monks dedicated to spreading the faith of Ti'vhaan, god of Peace and Tactics. The Monks were trained in basic hand to hand combat, and the ability to transform gas in the air into a hard water-like substance, which could be used to attack or heal.

All was well, until the Fire Nati-erm, the dimensional jumping army of the aptly named Count Evilman arrived. Their advance conventional weapons proved too much for the somewhat primitive civilization. The Monks of Ti'vhaan were almost completely wiped out in the war. The remaining ones fled to their temple, where they planned to copy Count Evilman's plan, by jumping into other universes and finding allies to help push back the attack. They all agreed to don the Monk of Ti'vhaan for the sake of help.

Corvus found herself falling into the middle of a battle between Steel Darksaver and Omegaus Miyaximus. She quickly helped Ava defeat her, and then collapsed due to the hyperventilation, mostly thanks for having more air on this Earth than her own. Ava took her home and helped her back to proper health. Explaining her story, Ava agreed to help her save her world, but they would have to find a way back first.

Until then, Ava agreed to let Corvus stay at her apartment until a way back to her Earth could be found.
