History
Agnes Poe was in a horrible school bus accident when she was only five. Many of her classmates were killed in the crash, but Agnes was spared, though severely injured. In time, her numerous internal injuries were mended, a healing process that required many units of blood. In the confussion on the day of the accident, however, a sample of hero blood accidently found its way into the common pool, and ultimately into young Anges's body.
Over the next fifteen years, the enhanced blood had a subtle, but ever-increasing affect on Agnes. She felt compelled to wear baggier and baggier clothes to put forth an illusion of getting fatter in order to hide the true transformations that were happening to her body. By the time she was a college senior, the effects were quite profound. She elected to better understand what was happening to her body, and ultimately found her way to a private super power training center, a place called Clobber House. With their help, she learned the basics of controlling her powers.
With a rudimentary understanding of her powers, she turned her focus back to school, specifically, post-grad law school. She excelled, graduating with high honors. She quickly found her way climbing the professional ranks and ultimately openned up a new practice in Paragon City with her two dearest friends, Tony Shepard and Holly West. Life was good, but tragedy would strike once again.
Within a span of just a few months, both of her partners, her dearest friends, were killed, due to complications stemming from cases involving super villains. Agnes was crushed, and decided to revisit that other gift, long left dormant. She touched base with Clobber House once more, this time to train in earnest as a hero.
