There is an amusing bug with the last map that probably makes the mission much easier than it's designed to be. |
My goal here was two-fold: close out a major chapter in Ani's life with a bang, and create a solid, challenging, standalone Task Force that doesn't actually require any previous knowledge of my character for anyone to play. I think I pulled it off, though I'd like to hear from others on whether that's actually the case. Despite featuring several cameos from my friends and employing their enemy groups from other arcs our coalition has played through, you don't need to know any of these characters or the custom enemy groups to follow the developments of the story, anything relevant about them is included in their bios or conveyed in their dialogue, and it's always up to the players of the arc to save the day.
A couple important notes:
The first mission is designed to be failed (your purpose is to provide a 15 minute distraction, so failure is success) but it can be completed by a well-built team.
The final mission is presented as entirely optional, it's up to you and your team if it would be in character for you to go through with it. Hopefully the overall arc is conducive to RP missioning.
Details to come.
